Korean food vs. Indian food 😜

Both are great. I’d say India it would be easy to be a vegetarian as the wide variety of vegetable dishes with amazing spices are sooooo good. But I also love beef japchae so much !

I'd love to see them try Carribean and Central/South American types of chicken, there's such a big spectrum of types and flavors! It will blow their minds. I'm Puerto Rican so I'd go with our recipes paired with any of our rice and bean dishes!

I'd actually go so far as to say Korean Fried Chicken and Indian chicken are very similar (same with curries though Korean curry is a bit waterier than say an Indian curry) in so much that the spices or sauces or "add on" is the most dominate flavor in the chicken. Usually. Tandoori chicken is marinated for hours and hours and is super smokey from being cooked in the tandoori oven, and "regular" KFC is just super juicy and crispy and just, incredible. Of all the types of cooking chicken in the world, I still say the top 3 are Korean, Indian and American (normally attributed to Southern fried chicken but chicken from all over the US is delicious) without a doubt.

Many vegetarians become non - vegetarian because vegan food is too expensive in Korea. Other than that it is not easily available. When my aunt first visit korea and ask for vegetarian food option. They suggest food which contain chicken, egg and many things which are non-veg. Their concept for non-veg is different from us (India). Sometimes even sos also contain beef and sea food. So, that why ask for vegan rather than vegetarian.

Both taste great since i tried both but There is more korean variety chicken than indian so korean! If its a vote i bet korean chicken would have more votes. Korea loves to use other country influence to modify different sauces into their chicken so popularity is always there. India is more traditional spices.

For the people who don't know, specifically for foreigners : Indians don't really eat such Spicy food on daily bases for the following reasons. 1) hygiene: obviously, but in India , most of the times these food are seen as an unhealthy food because it's not sure how the restaurant or small stall owners make it. Whether they make it with hygiene guidelines or otherwise. Hence, people don't really trust much of outside food other than of bigger restaurants. 2) Spiciness: obviously, you can't have so much of spice everyday n not fall sick . Hence, in India , people prefer less spicy of plain food . -Like on breakfast usually we eat : roti & subji or other Parathas ,etc. -For lunch: usually it depends place to place. In Northern part , specifically around Bihar , jharkhand, we eat Rice, sabji n dal. -For dinner : it'sa also optional, but in our place usually roti is more prefered as to not gain too much weight. But during summer some switch to rice. With sabji n dal. 3) cost & expenditure: we Indians do really like spending much . So we prefer eating healty home food instead. But only spend when necessary or on occasion. Even then we try to keep it within a small budget, even if they family income is more than 1Lac. 😅 my dad parents never let me eat outside food while growing up. So, hope this helps.❤
