What I love about the parents is that their pallets are receptive to every dish from different ethnic backgrounds. When many of us travel to foreign countries we seem to be hesitant if not outright rejective, think Joe Rogan and fear Factor. But they are very open to new menus and that gives me a sense of confidence when traveling abroad, thank you!

I love nothing more at a table than seeing someone discover new ways to please the senses. I almost cried with the noises the father makes, im mexican but the simple sound of him grumbling with the sound that can only say "my belly is happy" memories at the dinner table with my grandfather flooded my mind, stuff i havent thought of in years. Its amazing how food connects us all to each other. The human tounge does not discriminate on what is delicious only the mind, something my grandpa would always say. This was such a pleasant addition to my day much thx for that one🤙i needed that motivation today.

@Pewpewbanana16 nobody mentioned moans. I was talking about how he grunts and grumbles, but yeah I mean I guess the moans would be included. I don't know why that's weird to you... guess I just don't think so two dimensionally like yourself and find wonder in every bit of life I can. My grandfather was a very stoic tough as nails and powerful influential man in my life and in his community hardly EVER SMILED LAUGHED OR HUGGED ... but there were times when he'd light up or when his feelings would peek through and for me it was whenever he was at the table for dinner with a fat full plate after working on cars all day face still with grit and oil from wiping sweat all day but spotless hands grunting like a satisfied gorilla as he marveled at what HE EARNED TODAY... my grandfather was my hero, he's the reason why a fatherless bastard like me grew up to be a decorated combat veteran retired at 33 and doesn't even think of his bills and spends his time doing what I want like rescuing animals (a knowledge of them thought by the only man with the honor to step up and raise his grandsons properly)... so I get you don't know me... more than likely don't care either. But maybe give a second of extra thought to what you say to a person before judging... an if not idk, go fuck yourself I guess.🤙
