Proud Trinidadian here😊😊 Thank you for trying our food..and loving it❤ The dumpling was supposed to be dipped in the oxtail gravy otherwise it will be bland by itself. Dad is so brave to use the scorpion pepper sauce..you should have gotten the habanero for him. So happy that they were pleased. Thank you

Yup! And that's just the beginning! There's crab and callaloo, coconut sweet bread, paimee, sugar cake and so much more! I felt so much prouder to be a Trinidadian after watching their reactions! Priceless!❤❤❤

I LOVE Trinidadian food and all Caribbean food in general! Doubles, pholourie with tamarind sauce, goat or chicken curry wrapped in dhalpuri roti! Can't forget their signature scorpion pepper sauce! My mom's Trinidad born coworker and bff introduced me to the wonders of caribbean food at a very young age, and I've loved it ever since! So glad to see your parents enjoyed it and had the guts to try the spicy scorpion sauce 😂 I love you guys so much! You always put a big smile on my face 🥰

Proud British Trinidadian here and I love everything about this video! I love how you got a selection of our very best dishes, for your parents to try. I also love how your parents were comparing the dishes, to Korean dishes, they're familiar with. They're always so up for trying new tastes and flavours and so interested in the history of the cuisines they're trying, I adore them!. Love how Dad was head to toe, in the restaurants merch. Your parents never disappoint to show their likings and preferences. But this Trinidadian taste trip was clearly a topper! And I agree, many of the Caribbean and Polynesian seafood dishes go well with kimchi and/or acar.

I feel so happy to see this. I lived Seoul for 5 years and I really feel Korea needs some less trini food!!
