Ate Jessica I like how you represent Philippines aesthetically to the rest of the world before, but now hits different because you're in nature. I love the vibe, i like how creative you are at filming things because there's always a balance of good and bad thing and I think that's very inspiring to watch. We love you💚🇵🇭

Hi Jessica, I'm just a little concerned because I've been camping all my life and I can tell you that camping in a Philippine jungle is far more dangerous than say camping in North America or even Korea. For one thing, the humidity and the sheer number of poisonous plants and organisms including bacteria means you have to protect yourself against cuts, bruises and bites that could easily become infected. You also need to be wary of rabies from bats, rats, malaria from mosquitoes and attacks from wild pigs. First of all, you need a decent First Aid kit, Second, you need a decent pair of boots and changes of socks (daily) -- those flip flops won't protect you against snake bites and cuts from sharp rocks and branches. Also that is Quezon, it rains every afternoon most times of t he year and, the NPA and even the Japanese left lots of booby traps there that could maim you -- those flip flops really won't do anything against punji spikes. Second hand Army boots, rubber rain or farm boots and even cowboy boots (desinged to stop snakebites on the calves) would be great. Next you need to wear long sleeved shirts to protect against bites, scrapes, cuts from razor grass, poisonous plants, insect bites. I know it's hot but if you get loose fitting Safari shirts or BDU cotton tops, they are designed to cool you down and protect you. Also include lots of sugar in your first aid kit. It can delay the effects of poisons, toxins and infections if you ingest or apply it topically. Just my two cents worth -- I wouldn't let my own daughter go camping out there dressed like that. Thank you.

Loved this! As an avid camper, I highly recommend laying out a large tarp underneath your tent so that water doesn't get in when it rains, and purposely positioning it so that a lot of the excess tarp is in front so you have a 'walking space' in front of your tent. Also put a tarp on top of your tent tied up to trees (if possible) and angled in a way so that if it rains, the rain just falls right off the tarp while keeping your tent dry. I also like to have a little 'door mat' or towel inside my tent so I can wipe my feet dry when I come into the tent. Hope this helps if you plan on having any future camping trips! 😊

You can't just leave for an hour and let the fire be unsupervised, you have to be responsible with fire. When you leave, you always make sure there is no spark, no smoke, the fire is 100% out. You can always start another fire but you can't unburn a forest or a house or a person. In Korea i would guess that you would get a super huge fine for leaving a fire unsupervised for 1h in a forest. That aside, the fire bed should be on exposed earth and not on vegetation, should be at least 3m away from your tent and any overhanging trees and it's good practice to use a ring of rocks to help contain the fire. it's super easy to start a forest fire if you are careless.

camping is popular in the Ph. in fact, it may be too popular because mt pulag was closed down due to an uncontrolled camp fire some years back, mt apo and mt banahaw were shuttered for several years for rehabilitation purposes because of too many campers , pico de loro was also banned to campers for the same reason, etc. in fact, enjoying the outdoors has grown more in popularity nowadays w/ the advent of off- roading or overlanding.

Hi, great staying with nature and just feel the world within! The only risk and danger in camping during rainy season is ...if it rains afar or when you see rian clouds up in the mountain better move out from the water falls or stream where you are camping and seek higher grounds for the reason there might be a "flash flood" to happen. Rain coming from the mountains comes down so quick and are so dangerous!

In life it is important to have self reflection once in a while at least...it is not important the place where you are for self reflection because after all it is the result that matters after doing your S.R. on the other hand it is always nice to have someone with you through tough times rather than dealing with it alone...like the old proverb says: "no man is an island."

Camping with rain definitely made camp more memorable, I just like rain so much even though we're camping; the breeze, vibes yasss beautiful nature.

I suggest to use more durable tent, thus when it rains it is still comfy.

I love to camp too and we go from Orlando, Florida to Gatlinburg, Tennessee as it has mountains and streams too. I love nature and always want to be around trees. So happy to see you camping there. It sucks when it rains though and there is no restroom near.

This vlog is great as always. But I wish you didn't put background music on some parts. It's better with nature, rain, and bird sounds. 🙂
