It's really okay to call it Gray-ham instead of Gra-am. We're filipinos anyway, why won't we own the accent.

To non-Filipino viewers, 'sharksfin' no longer contains actual shark's fin. Nowadays, it's used to define steamed dumplings shaped a certain way rather than what's inside. In rare cases, it has faux sharks fin made from plant-based jelly. Shark's fin trade is prohibited in the country.

I've tried Dimsum Treats once, I think it was in 2020 or 2021. Sila lang yung open sa vicinity aside from the usual fastfoods kaya I chose them. I was so hungry that time that I ordered almost everything on their menu.😅 Usually when I'm hungry I'd appreciate the food because if gutom ako, lahat talaga masarap😂 but Dimsum Treats really did disappoint. 😅 It lacked the "bite" that I was looking for in a dimsum. It's too mushy and so obvious that it contains more extenders than meat. Nothing special about it kaya I don't understand the hype.😅 I've been meaning to try Angkong to compare, kaya lang I haven't been back in the area. I think Jessica had already answered my question. Sana you could've featured more shops like the fried chicken at the brown gate in P. Noval, sizzlings, silogs, other lutong bahay...

I have a suggestion for the Paborito series :). Next time you should try or compare food that are in the same category to be fair when choosing your favorite one. Because siomai rice is different from a milkshake. Angkong may be your favorite meal in espanya but lovelite can also be your go to dessert after a meal or after a tiring commute right? So in the next episode it could be “Espanya’s best ____ (dessert/meal/merienda)” or something like that.

I still think its better to pronounce graham the way us Filipinos do in converse with the locals to avoid confusion. Altho 'grayham' is more alike with how Canadians pronounce it and British with 'grey-am'. It's just that people and PH has been more inclined with how Westerns pronounce it as 'gram' AS IF its the "only right" and the "only way" to pronounce it. Regardless, ANYTHING GOES and different pronunciation works especially with how your culture and country does it. There is no right or wrong way of doing it sheesh.

With all the food I have seen you eat, I can't believe you're still skinny. 😄EDIT: The word "Graham" is really pronounced GRA-HAM, two syllables. However, when said very quickly, it sounds like "GRAM." I had the same confusion before. Also, I don't know if you know, but "Angkong" is a Fookienese (a Chinese dialect in Fookien province) word that means grandfather on the father's side, i.e., the father of one's father.

That Graham Ball was the favorite project of Business Management students. On my school at Cavite, they are everywhere trying to sell those. ₱25 each, taste good tho. But the serving was kinda small for ₱25. As a student, ₱25 is huge. That's why they will force you to anything just to buy those 😂 And I'm telling you, having a hot/sexy/beautiful tindera will sell those faster 😂 LMAO the nostalgia 🤣

eating such huge amounts of foods for such cheap prices... god where have these been all my life... ;_; in my elementary & highschool food wasnt exactly cheap, most of what we had available was from the cafeteria and they often charged over 100p just for one (small portion) dish excluding rice, drinks that weren't say gulaman were also pricey, so broke @$$ students like me had to buy outside the school during lunch time (which was only like 30 minutes so we had to hustle like crazy) and they didnt have any restaurants nearby or even convenience stores (the closest one was at least a 12 minute walk one way), so all we had access to were street stalls serving junkfood like bananacue or lumpiang togue, not exactly healthy food... there's a bbq stall but the owner uses birds that he shoots down with a rifle daily (was legal back then but extremely illegal now). since i only had 50p a day, all i could afford was cup noodles, and the only store that sold it was a 24 minute round trip away, so i not only had to buy and cook it, but finish it within 3 minutes and get back to class on time. safe to say if it wasn't for having to hustle like crazy everyday my cup noodle diet would have made me fat. but running around the streets everyday with a skirt was very indecent and humiliating to say the least. the funny thing was that we weren't even a poor family, my parents just didnt wanna give me any baon or more lunch money.. edit: by the time i graduated they opened a boba tea shop within a 2 minute walk of the school, i also forgot to mention that there is a filipino restaurant within a 4 minute walk from the school called friends and neighbors, they also have a bunch of really nice korean samgyupsal restaurants nearby now, but all of them are still way overbudget for broke students. the most surprising thing is that an adult toy store opened up right next to the convenience store i frequented, in a place most students frequent lmao. despite the schools efforts they couldn't get them to close down and now its become a popular venue for students wearing disguises. (im totally not opposed to it since school life was extremely stressful and that stress has to go somewhere. apparently alumni's get a big discount.. so i imagine the owner was a classmate.. my best friend has been trying to get me to check it out with her.)
