Whether they are the best totally depends on the individual. People don’t seem to realize that what works for others may not work for them as everyone has different skin types, and skin needs. And just because a product didn’t work for you doesn’t mean it’s bad or won’t work for others… people take this way too personally. I tried them all except the balm and they all broke me out. Disappointed. Mad? No.

Lots of ppl say it's great but I purchased a bottle a while ago & am meaning to try it. The pink stick balm is Not A Favourite of Koreans though - many say that (it's all over the Entertainment Industry) is rubbish though. I think snail mucin either works for you, or it doesn't so fingers crossed - we'll see🙏🇬🇧

The KAHI balm has fragrance in it. Fragrance can cause contact dermatitis.

i hateeee the kahi balm stick. it does soften the skin and moisturize but its not glass skin if you're greasy as hell during the day. i just use it as eyelid cream at night

a lot of these have fragrances, which can cause irritation or make you develop an allergy to it. it's better to go fragrance and essential oil free when choosing skincare products.

Well you can react to any ingredient not just fragrance or perfume. Personally I have super sensitive skin and never had issues. What I do react to are alcohol, and minerals as well as actives and certain plant/essential oils/plant oils.

It's not though. Have seen the biggest impact on my skin after starting to use it. Just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's not a good product.

Personally, the BOJ sunscreen is amazing on my skin. I've finished up more than five tubes already. I've an acne prone skin, but it has never caused me a breakouts.

BOJ has some really good products. Their cleansing balm, the eye cream, sunscreen...also that toner is really good and brightening. The snail mucin didnt work out for me though, it broke me out. If you are allergic to dust, it might be the case

I tried BOJ sunscreen but it oxidizes on my skin and accentuates any hyperpigmentation there. I'm brown skinned btw. But, I can use it at home because of it's gentleness.

The snail mucin essence is SO overrated. I had so much acne and bought this cuz I thought it would help because of the hype. Don't fall for it. If you have dry skin? Absolutely. But it's ONLY good for hydration, nothing else. It does zilch for actual skin problems imo.

Hello skincupid team 🥰 I have a question and I hope that you could help me out. I want to get myself an essence ( is essence and toner the same thing?). I have the toner from cosrx with aha but if I got it right you can put on an essence after the use of a toner (?). What I mean is that I clean my face with that toner and after that I want to hydrate it with an essence. I saw a few of your recommendations for example this rice toner or a gingseng product etc. My questions is what would you recommend for someone with acne prone skin and hyperpigmentation? W

Hi lovely, essences are different from toner as they penetrate deeper into the skin! Yes, you can apply an essence on top of your AHA toner, which should also help with pigmentation. Essences are great for hydration and they can also be a great addition to a serum (which is the treatment step that would address acne or hyperpigmentation further). A great essence for hydration and acne-prone skin is the MIXSOON Centella Asiatica Essence which contains 100% Centella Extract. We would also highly recommend adding a serum into your routine to address pigmentation and acne with Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Serum with 5% niacinamide to fade dark spots and soothe acne. Hope this helps!
