I had an experience getting wasted on the bar when I was a minor. I can take it. Gin however took me some time to adjust. So I get confused by those people who are "scared" of The Bar but can drink ginebra with no problem

These are just my asumptions. The reasons why we have stronger kinds of liquor is bcoz of our culture, filipinos are more on socializing (same with what u guys said). We love to inter act with other people coz we are those kind of people who are comfortable with others even if we just met them(hospitable in short).. While on the other hand, koreans type of liqour is much more smoother and lighter coz they are shy kind of people and just so damn respectable to not over step on bounderies. But as u can see the TASTE are quite similar with the liquor variations u presented, perhaps thats the reason why we both appreciates the food, the drinks and the culture of each other(korean and filipino)..

Correction: - Kung "heavy" yung iinomin niyo like gin, rum or brandy, hindi chips ang pulutan, most likely mga 'pang-ulam' na pagkain ang pupulutanin niyo. - Kung "light" lang naman like beer, ok na yung chips - Sa very urbanized areas lang yung pagmimix ng drinks, pero sa mga more rural areas or sa provinces straight nilang iniinom yung gin (with chaser ofc)

Filipinos don't have any direct translation of the Korean word "jjan" what we only have is the word "tagay" which means "shot". But Filipinos adopted the world "cheers" and "kampay" to American and Japanese.

the "Apelyido" is a very important drinking culture in the Philippines. Thanks Joshua for sharing it haha. There shouldn't be anything left on the shot glass after you drink. If there's a few ml left, they call it APELYIDO, or Surname in English. They'll tell you, "Wait, there's still Apelyido left. Drink it."

I didn't try those but i did try san migel and red wines,but i really like drinking san migel once i try it i always want for another,for the red wine naman it's so yummy and smooth eventhough we just put it in the cabinet and store them the taste will grow like it becomes more yummy and smooth I basically like the 80's wines.And the Strawberry wine is just a juice i didn't even feel anything and the goodthing is the smell of it will leterally excite you to drink.

Filipino way before drinking alcohol especially Gin bilog is they mix it with juice (mostly pineapple powdered juice) but before mixing it, they lit up the gin with fire then put some water.

Good trait for me in terms of drinking alcohol drinks is that I can last for maximum 9 hours straight. Then Ill just sleep. And I dont drink alot like twice a year(lol) or if there is a celebration. But I can compete to drinkers as well.
