Don't compare everything with America and Americans... Western culture is just so culturalless .. they would even share their partners with their besties in the room .. would you do it too just because it's so normal in Western countries... Asian conservative culture is best... every Asian countries has its own unique culture & beliefs... Western culture has brought nothing but stupidity whether it's LGBTQ or Nudity or drugs we should not learn from the people who have Low IQ than us ...Just Because you know how to speak English doesn't mean you have to act like or behave like Westerners...

Only for men though, apparently women "can't" and if they do then that's cheating and utterly unacceptable, they must wait at home for their partner to return after banging and what boggles my mind is that THE WOMEN ARE SO SUPPRESSED THEAT THEY THINK IT'S FINE TO LET THEIR PARTNER SEEK PLEASURE SOMEWHERE ELSE ???!!! cuz why? And I quote "If she has longer legs than line and he's attracted to her it's fine becuz I don't have that", what breaks my heart is the way the ladies were so visibly and terribly insecure that it's evident on their faces with the way they say it so sadly. What pathetic society to live in honestly, it's just so sad how hard the partiality goes, its gotten to thr point that the women just choose to stay single having the satisfaction rate going higher for the unmarried women and the populations decreasing.

@@hearteu5260well women won't be able to sleep without any emotional attachment while men can sleep around with no feelings attached. But yeahhh the mentality of it being professional relationship and not cheating is just way out of pocket for us. EDIT: Lol alright everyone, my bad for generalizing people. Of course not all male and female are like that. Not trying to offend anyone here. And ofc just because you don't have any feelings for your sexual partners doesn't mean you should be doing it when you are already in relationship. Personally as a female, I won't be able to sleep with anyone I don't love. Even if I am in relationship with them, I won't do it unless I know I love them. But that's me, people you do you.

I think it’s a great question to debate about because it can go both ways. I think if my boyfriend/husband was always showing care, consideration and tenderness for other girls and not me I would feel confused and frustrated. If he was the kind of person that was always doing sweet helpful things for people including for me then I would feel like he’s just a great person with a kind heart. I think with the example of the ketchup, if he opened the packet that would be one thing but it is a little weird to squeeze it out for someone.

I was looking for this in the comments. I used to have this insecurity and I just thought I was the problem, and kept working on not feeling this way, trying to understand why this feeling would crop up even though it didn't align with the values I thought I held. It caused a lot of dissonance in me. Eventually he cheated on me, later on I got into a healthy relationship, and now none of these signs actually bother me. Then I looked back and realized, it's because I knew in the past that my partner wasn't doing those things for me, and only did those things for others when he sought to gain a benefit (sexually, emotionally, or otherwise) from that "kind" gesture. Now I'm with someone who would go out of his way to help anyone who needs it, and doesn't expect anything back. It's all about context, intention, personality. If you're feeling this way in your relationship, you either need to work on yourself, drop the partner, or both. It's not always just the first one.

Exactly. I would want my partner to be a kind person but certain actions are a bit weird like yellow flags but not red. There's honestly nothing more attractive than someone who helps others in small ways without even thinking, it's an automatic thing for them because it's in their nature to be kind. I value this so much not only in a partner, but in my friends as well. I was raised like this, with my parents as an example. I consider this the bare minimum, not only amongst friends and family, but with people in general. It's sad that Koreans are so repressed that they see it as affectionate in a romantic way, when it's just common courtesy.

@@you.will.kn0vv work on it before you enter a relationship. No amount of working through it during the relationship will help, cause if you don't trust your partner this much, you'll never truly trust them, and will eventually go back to your old patterns. This person doesn't trust their partner while they are with them in the same room, I don't even want to know what this person does when their partner isn't around at all and is somewhere with someone else, for days or weeks at the time. You aren't siamese twins, you won't spend 24/7 together constantly. So being this possessive over nothing, is quite disturbing behaviour, and no one should have to put up with it.

Sounds a bit unreasonable to me I’m not throwing my 3 year long relationship don’t the drain cos I get jealous sometimes which is a normal human emotion/function… (not over leaves tho lol) most people are a little insecure about SOMETHING, yet still deserve to be in relationships and are absolutely fine in them. @@ktxtenskz7441 Seems like I'm just repeating myself here over and over again to insecure people who are trying to justify their actions with "i'm a bit like this, but it's not that bad, we are making it work". Make it work with yourself first and address why you feel like this and/or have the need to behave this way. No one that is comfortable with themselves, their partner and the overall relationship acts like this. Even better, don't start relationships with people where you are their 2nd or 10th choice, so everyone else around them seems like a better fit than you. Be with someone who actually wants to be with YOU and wants a future with YOU, and not someone who just wants a relationship for the sake of being in one.

I feel like it’s strange for someone to never ever get jealous of something (doesn’t have to be relationships). Same with insecurity, most people of not everyone goes through it no matter how much. The girlfriend should help her friend there. Why would you sit there and watch your friend struggle awkwardly and get angry when your bf decides to help? You got no hands?!
@myplateisempty.4292

I think its the intentions behind it. I would not think anything of it if my boyfriend did it, I probably would be the one to help too if I noticed it, but if the friend is acting like she's helpless to look cute or if the boyfriend is overly attentive to the friend rather than his girlfriend, then there is definitely something fishy going on. In that case I wouldn't be okay with it.

First girl is super pretty, beautiful hair. To the point: this is ridiculous, and another symptom of Korea's deep-seated problems with gender relations, masculinity, and gender parity: - if my partner aided a friend of mine in that way, perilla leaf or ketchup, I would be both impressed and happy that he is considerate and kind, attentive and helpful. I would feel happy to be with someone that sensitive to the needs of others and present in the moment (not just sticking food in his face). It shows good manners and good breeding that he is aware of his surroundings and concerned for the well-being of others. Any other value judgements of his behaviour are rubbish and sexist. Just ridiculous.

I think the panel are westernised. Koreans have their own social norms and what would be classified as relationship behaviours. These people don’t kiss before dating, give eye contact, hold hands or even casual talk to strangers ffs. They express affection, intimate feelings to someone via helping the opposites s*x. That comparison was not a great one. But if your western and you friends and boyfriend/girlfriend are too then you all understand each other. But applying your western standards on Koreans in Korea and saying it’s stupid is inconsistent and inconsiderate. P.s. nothing wrong with helping someone I love to help people and nothing wrong with western ideals and western norms. Also I ❤ Kelsey

Even SEA country don't do it and I will argue SEA countries are more conservative than Korea . They don't even believe in one night stand and have lower divorce and cheating rate than Korea . So your argument about Korea is wrong . Maybe it's a culture thing where Korean are more possessive to their partner or feeding someone is kind of affection .I will be more impressed if my gf is kind and helping to others . If she goes overboard or ignore me and help my friend then it will be a problem but just helping to pick a leaf is nothing of this sort .
