The Korg PA4x is a new top of the range arranger keyboard from top musical instrument manufacturer Korg. In this video we explore some of the wonderful guitars sounds found in the Korg PA4x keyboard. Anyone who plays the new Korg PA4x will notice the substantial improvement over the quality of sound then compared with the previous range Korg PA3x keyboard. Hello i just brought the 61key pa4x but cannot find the factory preset for strat guitars in my keyboard. How do I get these sound as seen here. Thank you

I appreciate the demo, but wish the "Strum 12Str" had been selected. I have as of yet to find anyone demonstrating the 12-string guitar on one of these boards

I love the distortion effects. They are better than Tyros 5 Real Distortion.

I think the point is, when you have to choose the digital guitar multi effect, what brand you prefer. Both, Yamaha and Korg, offers digital guitar multi effects and it depends on your preferences, what of them can meet your preferences better. On the other hand it could be, that Yamaha improved the guitar effects for Genos.

@@robfriedrich2822 Yamaha genos offers more amp effects than korg pa series. Sadly new korg pa series only have 3 amp simulators and 1 bass amp (if i'm not wrong). But, yamaha genos and CVP 809 offers about 10 including distortion stompbox than older Yamaha series. Such as tweed combo, tweed bass amp, boutique dc amp, and more.

@@keanuman1 More quantity isn't always better. On the other hand, the Korg is less expensive. At least, for the main pupose this amp simulators are more "nice to have". People who play Genos or PA4x can try to imitate electric guitars, but they won't impress Rock music lovers this way.

@@robfriedrich2822 yes you're right. I agree with you. Another way I point out is the dry sample of Yamaha's electric guitar sounds so bad and needs to be improved more. Nothing changed more than Tyros 5. Korg PA4x samples lots of real electric guitars, such as a telecaster and Les Paul. Still, there is a weakness. If I play on higher notes, it sounds fake and unrealistic even with an amp simulator. Overall, the real electric guitar still sounds more realistic than MIDI-sampled.

Isn’t there a guitar mode on these? Do the demonstrators know?

PA4 has a guitar mode, where you can recall strummings - it's for programming purpose. Genos has a kind of guitar mode, that is differently. To ensure, that the virtual guitar player react realistic, the style track has 6 notes, each represents one of the strings and the style engine turns this into a guitar strumming or picking.

thanks for the demo. I just wanted to ask if you can tell me the difference between the 61keys and 76keys, apart from the obvious; keys, price, and etc. I'm looking to purchase but would like to know if its worth spending the extra grand on the 76 keys.

It depends on the style of music you play mate. I got 61 key version myself. The 76 key not worth a grand more. Any question you may have on the 61 key version i will try to answer as honestly as possible. The keys are like the korg pa3x version. Overall is a great machine . Its getting some unfair comments from people i think.

+Tassie Spirit you get an hdd with the 76 model. Hdd is optional on the 61 keys.

I bet you cant turn a midi file into a style on your korg pa3x. When you say all its not all its only what you may think you can do. You need to try first.
