Hello, my personal opinion is Pa series have evolved so much it is time to have as part of this expensive and great instrument a dedicated professional 8 - 16 tract audio recorder to which can sync with the accompaniments with editing functions to be able to do good studio grade recording? Is it not time?

As always your videos are very helpful. I have a question and maybe you can help me. In MidiWorks Pa+ computer program I can modify and update sounds of General Midi songs for PA5X and the program save them in SMF0 format (16 tracks). The problem is, when I want to add in Korg PA5X i.e. EQ, Insert FX, doesn't matter what. The Korg PA5X saves such changes in SMF1 (In MidiWorks Pa+ is visible 17 tracks). This operation remove all txt data from song (i.e. copyright, chords are changed on lyrics and there are everywhere between text of the song). The strange thing is, that in manual is written that Korg PA5X should save songs in SMF0. Do you know how to adjust / force Korg PA5X that it saves songs in SMF0 and not SMF1? Wbr, Christopher

So why isn't there a quantizing feature especially for recording drums? Seems like a major oversight!

There is in a way. When you go to Rec /Style Edit you will see "Resolution" list below the part of the style you are going to record. Default is High, but you can adjust it from 8th notes to 32nd notes. Also, what I do is record what you want then while in Style Edit mode, go to Menu / Event Edit and there you can dial in the notes to what ever you want. I have even created tracks by just using the Event Edit page.
