Love my Triton Extreme vst.....use it a lot for both studio & live keys performances.

Thanks for sharing. it just shows what a VST junkie I am, because I already own both of these products, yet I watched this like they were foreign concepts. lol Again, I own both VSTs and don't at all understand why the extreme was made a separate product instead of simply severing as a feature & soundset in the Triton VST. From my understanding, the hardware Extreme was only the Triton Studio with an added tube and a select library of the existing expansion boards (minus some dated functionality), all of which are already included in the Triton VST package.

I remember in 1998 when I first heard.a triton at a rehearsal I was blown away it was such a game.changer. as a gospel guy the pianos didn't hold up to Yamaha motif but it was still a legendary board. funny how twenty something years later it is still in the ring doing it's thing

KORG Triton normal is more M1 like - it punch through mix better.

I find Korg Extreme piano sound a bit heavier. I prefer to keep both my VST's

when it comes to easy of use and navigation, is Triton the one to choose if you want the experience but not bloated hundreds of presets? I get the feeling the extreme has a lot of presets

IN THE KORG EXTREME ON THE DISPLAY WHERE IT SAYS BROWSER IT GIVES YOU OPTIONS LIKE "DIGITAL" "CLASSIC" ETC ... DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY MEAN ?

for those who like bright sound should choose extreme and for warmth sweet sound i think triton is better than, cpu also triton is better than extreme
