Would the Roland go mixer be my best option to go with the Toraiz? Since the Toraiz doesn't have as much power as an MPC Live? I still don't love the menu's on the MPC

Great video, and I tend to go for the Volca Mix, because I have a few Volca's. However, I have 4 volca's, and the Mix only have 3 'In's .....how do I do that?

Great review and comparison of the Roland Go Mixer Pro and the Volca Mixer. As someone who owns multiple Volcas, the Volca Mix is attractive to me as instead of needing 3 power supplies, I just use the one that comes with this and the 3x power cables that are included. I would rarely use more than 3 Volcas at one time (I own 7, lol!). I think it is weird though that the Volca Mix does'nt have the option of being battery powered itself, so it isn't much use for jamming on the go (or in the park). So this to me is more of a bedroom studio tool. I have to say though they are quite expensive, although I've bought one in mint condition for about a third of the retail price, so score!

the Volca Mix seems to have some kind of compressor as well? That would be an interesting contrast, no?

What about noise floor?

Think about hooking up an sp404 to it?

For the Volca Mix I always hear "It's the same filter as on the volca sample". Even Korg says this. But it is definitely not! Behaves very diffenently. Unfortunately in a much less usefull way.

I would have wish you spoke about what's happens when you bus overdrive the mixer, a lot of people do that, it's a great way to process drums or synth ; for example the 303 on the label stay up 4 ever are distorted through a makie mixer, that's what give them this sound ; personnaly I do that slightly on my kick and 303 clone, but doing that on digital mixer sounds horrible, and it only sounds great on some analog mix table, it depends ; anyway, to me that's a good question when speaking about mixer ; great video anyway :p cheers

Not owning either but when making a review you'd need to be more objective than subjective. No mention on the high noise floor of the korg. No mention on the fact that you cannot use it properly due to the mono inputs on 2 of the 3 channels and thus shorting the operating amplifiers on the stereo output of any stereo device. You cannot make review conclusions "I don't care", cause for sure you should care if you are doing a review. Or it's just a clickbait?
