So was the 2nd Amendment about keeping a militia that didn't age very well in the modern age of massive defence budgets... My dad showed the same level of impairment as Biden, and my family went to court to void a car purchase dad had agreed tol. Court voided it. And my dad didn't have the codes to the nuclear football, aka the Doomsday Trigger. How so many Americans can still plan to vote for Biden in good conscience just depresses me. It's not a partisan issue at this point: Joe Biden is NOT fit to carry out the duties of the presidency.

Why have an age limit? Mick Jagger is super sharp and performs for two hours each night running up and down a differrent stage in a differrent city each night. He's 80. Age is a protected group just like race, gender, or religion. It's 2024. Proposing discriminating against people because of their age isn't very classy. Diversity matters. Representation matters. I agree there should be cognitive functioning testing. Cognitive issues can occur at any age.

Let’s break it down. Poll after poll on the actual issues show most Americans care about 1.) Economy, 2.) Border Security, and 3.) crime. The 4th and 5th top issues for most Americans flip between abortion, democracy, and foreign affairs. But consistently the polls show those top 3 issues being what majority of Americans care about the most. And those same polls show Biden is STILL underwater on those issues. So when you factor in people’s concerns about Biden’s mental decline, that obviously doesn’t help. We won’t even get into Biden’s own base being split on many issues, to include the Palestine/Israel conflict. So even if Biden was a “young spring chicken”, he would still be struggling against Trump. So Democratic leaders can try to hide Biden all they want, it’s not gonna help.

I think despite everything that we've seen post debate that Joe Biden is still the best candidate that Democrats can put up to defeat Donald Trump. I'm telling you right now that if you guys go down this path of replacing him then it is going to cause a lot of Democrats to fraction off for Kennedy. I think you'll see him go from something like in the range of 8 to 10% up to somewhere in the range of 14 to 16% and potentially even a few points higher than that. So yes I think this is the best position for Democrats at this point and they put themselves in this predicament

Read "Project 2025", the republican manifesto. One of its authors just publicly stated, basically, that "liberals have nothing to worry about" if they fall in line. The manifesto designs how they plan to get rid of the power of our votes, reduce education and child-labor laws (which republicans have already started on), get rid of worker's rights - another thing republicans have worked on, and replace the FBI and DOJ and courts with loyalists, much like the gastopo hitler had. That way they can come in your house, get rid of your education and make you desperate and poor, and force you into being a slave. Why would you give them that power?

Biden has proven his competency for the president, and he's always stuttered. He's old and slow, but his competency doesn't mean it shouldn't be questioned. However, the other guy didn't answer any questions and lied, and vows to jail Biden, Obama, Hillary, and all other political opponents without trial. Look at the last election, t-rump saying before it occurred that supposedly the "Democrats are trying to steal" the election. He also said "only if he didn't win" would it be "stolen". Well, what did he do to try and stop that? Nothing. Where's his evidence? He has none because he din't think the lie through enough and nobody has asked him. Look up what t-rump did the whole time during Jan 6th instead of calling for backup. Pelosi, I looked it up and you should too, but she was only one of the several people in charge of OKing things ahead of time, and she had NOTHING to do with security after it. She was 3rd in line to be able to do anything because there's a pecking order that must be followed. You can't undermine the president unless there's probably cause to do so. So everyone tried to get t-rump to do something. He wouldn't. He sat there and watched his cult attack our capital, and he even said, "maybe they should hang mike pence." After it was clear Pence could step in, he immediately did so and called in more security. That and them finally getting t-rump to intervene with his cult is what stopped the attack. t-rump didn't do anything until it was clear his minions would not be able to take over.
