Korobov vs Aleem FULL FIGHT: PBC on FOX - May 11, 2019

5 жыл бұрынOn May 11, 2019, Matt Korobov battled Immanuwel Aleem in a 10-round middleweight bout. This fight was broadcast live on FOX from EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series.
Korobov was comfortably in control of the fight early on, however as the fight went on, Korobov became noticeably gassed, allowing Aleem to make up some points.
The fight ultimately went the distance and Korobov was awarded a majority decision victory. However, an error was made when tallying up the judges scores and the decision was changed to a majority draw (95-95, 95-95, 97-93).

Great performance from Matt who clearly was Robbed in yet another fight majority decision was correct how the hell did so called professional judges screw it up,we all know he beat Charlo too look forward to Matt’s next fight we’re hopefully he can catch a dam break

he was not robbed against Charlo. Korobov won a maximum of 4 rounds in that fight and was almost stopped in the 12th. I swear Korobov can land one or two clean straight lefts and people give him the whole fight lmao

Korobov is a Good inside fighter as well he's very sneaky. He was a great Amateur as well schooled Danny Jacobs u can watch that fight on youtube. Anyways Korobov was robbed 100% i believe hes with Al Haymon he needs to ditch them head to DAZN he's got nothing to lose everything to gain.

One judge was watching a different fight. Aleem gave a good performance but lost 7 rounds. Winning the last 2 rounds does not make up for that. There needs to be more officiating of the officials in boxing. I even saw that creep Mark Nelson referee another fight after the strong outcry of his blatant crooked refereeing in Pac/Horn debacle.

Korobov is a great technical fighter with lots of experience. His only real lost was against Andy Lee, who caught him with a shot that he couldn’t recover from. Korobov would give anyone problems, especially fighting him on short notice. Charlo showed how to adjust and how he has game changing power. Charlo was never exposed, he showed character fighting a class of fighter like Korobov in such short notice.

Nah. Charlo-Koborov was practically an even fight, however Koborov let it slip with an arguable 10-8 round in the 12th round. The definition of a robbery is a one sided fight that isn’t competitive. You fans have got to stop calling fights robberies just because you don’t like the fighter

Myers was grossly unfair to Aleem by issuing only 1 warning to korobov for head butting. 10th rd korobov pushed with his head on Aleem from center ring to the ropes: no warning. Myers was grotesque openly against Aleem in her favor toward M. Korobov. She did a much better job refereeing Davis vs Aliva.

I got like 2 rounds for aleem the last one pretty clearly and one other close round the rest of the Round every single one to Korobov but I knew this before the fight after the 12 round they will make this a draw because they do not let a young American prospect loose agains a aging Russian dude Win would be to much a draw sounds for them OK but it's clear win for Korobov 8-2

WTF is going on with boxing! Can you honestly change this fight to a draw???? Korobov won the first 8 or 9 rounds. A draw is impossible. Korobov definitely got tired, but was way ahead. Also, didn't get credit for knockdown. If aleem had a couple more rounds he would have stopped korobov!!! He ran out of time. Everything doesn't have to be a black and white thing

No matter which way you look at it Korobov is not a good fighter C+. At 37 yrs old hes seen his best years in boxing. Best opponent charlo who he struggled against, had to pull out against Eubanks jnr and stopped by Andy Lee who is mediocre . This guy has done nothing. They talk about him like he is prodigious talent on the way to becoming a hall of famer.

Korobov was not busy enough and doesn't have a killers instinct. I don't care if he was tired. Aleem was the aggressor the entire fight. Korobov threw very accurate hard shots but they were far and few between. Aleem stole round after round with just his work rate and punches landed alone. Stop listening to the damn commentators!

That was a lousy ref. When refs act lazy, everyone loses, including the fighters. It gets sloppy, rules are not adhered to, it's a sport, not cage fighting! Korobov does too much holding. It's not even worth watching!!!

The ref really didn’t have control of this fight. Idk if it’s cause it’s a woman, but she wasn’t aggressive enough and seemed kinda timid and tentative. Plus they didn’t really, or couldn’t, listen to her. Don’t really want to see boxing move in this direction for “gender equality.” I just want the best ref in there to make the fights go smooth and get the best action w/o illegal shit happening.
