I love how it's a gamble whether a jumpscare in this game will make her scream or laugh.
Also, the hostile takeover of Yagoo's assets was a hilarious detail that the developer added in. Mad props to ImCyan.

@@assaulthetz380 the whole thing is Lovecraftian. You got at least two cults, the Koronesuki and the Takodachi. Korone switches forms between adorable bakery employee dog girl to literally finger eating, 150 meter, jealous deity with unlimited powere. Ina used to be a human girl and now is the envoy of a force known as The Void, with all her cultists becoming shapeshifters. Anf then there is Haachama, whose eldritch nature is even beyond her own understanding. Somehow Hololive is on a cosmic scale. And 90% of that lore atarted as jokes.

I have to agree. Even calling it a "walking simulator," as Yahtzee is fond of, gives it too much credit. It's just a short film that makes you press 'play' 256 times for no discernible reason. With that said, it *is* an entertaining film. I just wish it didn't have this silly "autopause" feature.

The mythology behind the Inugami is that they were severed, mummified dog heads dressed in ceremonial robes that sorcerers would turn into possession spirits that could inhabit and curse the emotionally unstable or weak. This game is just bringing back Korone's roots :P

Also Ina's Void alters the body, but neither she nor The Void treat Takodachi with the same level of brutality, often responded with masochism, Korone imposes upon her Koronesuki.

Anything done in MS Paint could work in a horror setting. It's like children's crayon drawings, or Mumei's _Paspartout_ abomination. When your medium is so technically limited, there's a certain inherently creepy quality to it.

Tbh it makes sense why Korone would act as a sort of spiritual threat in a horror game like this, randomly appearing and all. Her last name is "Inugami", which is a type of Dog Yokai that are either guardians or violent spirits (at least from what I know of).

There are actually some genuinely good horror visuals here. Like the title screen is actually brilliant. There’s some real talent here. Not just memes.
