Hi friends! I am excited to review for you today the new Kosas Blush Is Life Baked Talc-Free Dimensional + Brightening Blushes. I have two of the shades: Thrill and Dreamland. I will be doing daylight swatches and applications with each of these blushes and, in addition, will be comparing them to my favorite luxury glowy blushes: the Hourglass blushes and RMS blushes. I only have the Hourglass blush and it’s perfect. Currently I can say my skin is dry but the blush being a powder one, it looks so good, doesn’t emphasise pores and tbh I think the color it’s pretty buildable. Perfect, but pricey, yes😩

Dreamland will be the sell out color. It’s so pretty. I was waiting for the comparison. Still watching. They are pretty. ❤. Someone like me, who has no real estate on my cheek. The differences wouldn’t be seen

Thank you for this review in helping me decide whether to purchase this new blush. Personally, I prefer a matte more natural look - not a ball of rouge. I don't want shimmer all over my cheek. I prefer a sheerer formula that I can build up like Hourglass, Dior, Chanel or even MAC is great. Price doesn't bother me as blush lasts a really long time. I prefer to add a little highlighter - like a Chanel highlighter if I'm in the mood for some shimmer. While I appreciate its beauty, it is not my preference. I also like Mario's blushes that are very natural looking and blend well - great colors too.

I have swoon and dreamland on my list. I keep telling myself i dont need anymore blush but i keep being tempted but then i tell myself to wait save your money the new Chanel Summer release is coming and i want those as well . I definitely thought of Laura geller baked blushes when i saw these .

As an acne prone girl I'm so excited to try the Kosas blush! Very rarely can I use powdered blush or bronzers, hourglass is so pretty but it has pore cloggers

Excellent review! I was comparing these brands so this is very helpful ❤ I have the same complaint about Hourglass. They just don't give a whole lot of options for cool-toned undertone skin.

Sofia, im here w u for all ur blush and bronzer videos...may i ask that u please build up the swatching in 3 or 4 swipes instead of normal to super deep. I appreciate and thank u for trying to showcase that products can work for deep tones but u got some med, light tan gals too 😊

I had one of the RMS blushes and it hard panned on me super quickly (multiple times) - I don't know if there was something weird with mine but it was soooooo frustrating - I have never had it happen with any other product. I am interested to try the Kosas ones. I had a Kosas bronzer (first issue) that lasted about 2 years and was great; I bought another about 3 months ago and am enjoying it so I feel like it could be a good choice for me :) Thanks for the info!

Dreamland looks super similar to RMS crystal slipper in the comparison swatch, so now I'm wondering i need both. In Kackie's review they looked more different though. Would you say they're comparable in person? x Super helpful review!

I said the same! I think Dreamland looks slightly more peachy so I took a peach shade I had from my Chanel tendresse palette and swirled a bit on top of RMS crystal slipper and was able to make it slightly more peachy so it’s basically an exact dupe. You could probably do that with any peachy blush you have!

Hi Sofia! Could you please do a swatch of Maidens Blush vs Dreamland? ❤ I’m enjoying Adrenaline and Euphoria and want more haha! Also I got sucked in and bought the Prada lip balm in Maple 😅. It’s nice, reminds me of a creamy lipstick formula like maybe cross between a Mac cremesheen and luster but I still love the hyper mattes best!

I am in love with the hour glass formula but it all turns orange/red on me. Even the Jellyfish pallet did. The RMS is too much for me. But I think the Kosas blue pink shade could be what I have been waiting for. I am the odd woman out though, in that I do not like their packaging. I am bougie. I want Guerlain type packing for everything.

@@ultraviolettason the plus side, they are protecting a baked formulae. I have trouble opening the Kosas’ components and the product easily cracks. I had to replace a powder that cracked in shipping

I had a terrible reaction to a Kosas foundation which has turned me off the brand and the whole ‘clean’ makeup claim. Otherwise i would pick these up.
