Daylyt’s 3rd round was weak as fuck. Cortez was on his hills all 3 rounds. This is something I didn’t peep the first time I watched because I was too busy cheering for day. But when I actually listened to what Cor was saying, I was impressed and it was better than Day’s material. Day wasn’t wack in the first two, he had some bars, but Cortez cooked him.

That’s what lost the battle for me. While what he said about the state of the world and conspiracies were true, it had absolutely nothing to do with Cortez. Meanwhile, Cortez was talking directly to Daylyt’s soul. Daylyt’s verses didn’t belong in a battle, they belonged on Hot97 or I-95...
