Very cool review man. I have a friend in Japan who collected Zoids like crazy, and I was always in awe of how massive the Gojulas one was. Love the gorgeous blue and gold yellow look on this. Haven't seen the anime, but the directions definitely say "cockpit" in Japanese ✌, so maybe that's how that part opens.

Zoids for me has always fallen short on there animes but the toys since the 80's have been incredible even though a bit expensive even back then, my personal fav was the red version of the mammoth took me ages to build but was totally worth it. Figure wise its a strange choice but least you have no worries of losing one of the seems like hundreds of rubber end caps lol.

I didn't have any ZOIDS as a kid which is strange since I totally remember seeing them at stores and I would think would've been something I wanted. Maybe they were expensive like you said and my parents balked at getting them for me.

@@Ultrazilla There were cheap ones I had a good few of them like the original command wolf, but the sets really jumped in price and I think if parents seen those prices getting them for xmas was probably off, either that or distribution wasn't great I don't remember a huge amount of my friends having them.

Wasn't familiar with the Mammoth one so I looked it up. Yeah unconventional but very cool looking. Must have been a thrill to build👍

@@myleshancock9164 It was, I must of been 6 or 7 at the time of course the walking feature was always the best part for me at that age with the building made these amazing, can't fully remember now which ones I had all together, I had the brontosaurus, the gorilla, never had that amazing t-rex though sigh.

Likewise, but I've always heard it's not great and the brand is more about the toys.

I started it because I love toys, I was getting a lot as a collector, and I wanted to do more with them. I’ve also had some experiences that translated into good knowledge for this. Check the about section here for more. And sorry to hear, my condolences.
