Watched the final vs Spain, and while I was rooting for spain to win (for rodri), my eyes were glued to kova as well. Whenever the ball got to him, he's just a threat lmao. Hope he reaches his highest potential at city, and is happy to be there. He already is a top baller with a great positive personality as well , and that's a great combo 👑

Beautiful player to watch ... Elite technician and dribbler ....Totally press resistant . When he was a teen he was the most talented youngster in world football when he was at Inter Milan. He went to Real very young too young which stalled his progress. Under Pep he will become the kind of player he should have always become. This kind of talent is very rare and very few possess .

Mount this Havertz that meh....as a Chelsea fan the one outgoing that has really pissed me off is this one... Ever since he joined our club back in 2018 (on loan from Madrid) he has been one of the best in our team.... It was because of him that i didn't regret the sale of hazard as much as i should've... Coz he was a replacement for hazard when it came to press resistance and dribbling... Since then he has been an absolute assurance whenever he had the ball on his feet.... Losing possession was a fear no Chelsea fan was aware of as long as we had him on the pitch.... It's a pity he doesn't fit in poch's system but he has "pep's type of midfielder" written all over him... He's gonna thrive under pep and City will be more of a force with him carrying the ball forward.... It'll liberate players like silva and de bruyne even further

Kovacic has that Argentine ball carrying style dribbling, viz. Messi, Dybala etc. Runs into free spaces and evades tackles. Unlike the more Brazillian style of "taking on" defenders by pace and flair. Very elegant and effective.

I prefer Gundogan because he is a better reader of the game, but it will be interesting to see how much Kovacic is allowed to dribble at City as that is one of his strengths.

Vaverde should of got a red card just for fouls on Kovacic, when Chelsea was in Madrid, he was destroying Casemiro and Valverde!!! Chelsea should off go thru, but that one Modric magic act - totally destroyed them

He is the best in the world at it ... He is good at everything. He doesn't score much but when he does they are beauties . If he shot more he would. At City he will get many more assists as they have much better forward than Chelsea . He is a very good passer too and is totally press resistant .
