Yea, with the wool and loose knit, they breathe better than any slipper I've tried. I usually go about 30-45 min with them on, then take them off for a while.

Hey, Enri! My house is around 70º with colder floors during fall/winter and the slippers seem about right for that. They're loose-woven for airflow. That said, everyone runs at a different body temp, but the shop has 30 day returns, so you could test them out and see.

If you're concerned about moths, just put them in a sealed bag/container when you're not using them. As for Lem's, I wouldn't recommend them, because they're cushioned and will get quite squishy/unsupportive as they wear out. But if you want the extra padding, then go for it, because they do have a nice toebox.

I won’t buy the Drifter fur because like you say they won’t feel like walking in barefoot shoes, and after walking around my home barefoot for sometime, on lamented floors and carpet I’m beginning to strengthen my feet, so having a cushioned sole won’t feel the same. I just bought correct toes, medium and large. I’m still undecided which correct toes size to return because both sizes of correct toes fit my feet, except the larger size feels a bit tight when wearing my Altra Escalante 3 running shoes. So I’m thinking I’ll wear the medium correct toes with toe socks in my Altra Escalante 3’s while wearing the large correct toes walking around bare feet because they splay my toes more. Those KOW slippers look amazing but the sizing is tricky. I’m U.K. size 9.5. EU size 44.5. It seems, KOW don’t make half sizes. On the European distributor website it’s either, downsize or upsize, and I’m not sure. Either, EURO 44- 45 or EURO 45 - 46. They sell them in the U.K. as well on Etsy, but the sizing is different to the EU distributor, but a lot easier to have them delivered in the same country, rather then from Europe. Usually road shoes don't work so well for trails and vice versa, because of the tread style. I use the Vivo Primus Lite's for roads and the Primus FG for trails. One exception is the Vibram V-Trek, which works amazingly for both. I wear that shoe 99% of the time in the summer/fall.

I am searching for a road running shoe which can handle light trails. Also i am looking for a shoe which can handle longer runs like 10-20 kms. Which model primus lite do you use? @@Calisthenics_Enjoyer I have the original Primus Lite, and yea, it's great for roads and long runs. It's not super wide, though, so if you happen to have extra wide feet, go with Vibram FF.

Yea, all my shoes are zero-drop, and I haven't worn a cushion shoes since 2017. Once I made the switch cushion and tilted shoes just felt weird and painful.

@@AndrewFolts Do you have separate shoes for running, or do you wear your Vivos most of the time? I am asking because I run and just order a pair of Altras with low cushion. I worry about wearing them outside of running because I don't want the cushion to wear down too fast.

@@GabeKramer-yh9fg 99% of the time I wear Vibram Five Fingers for road running and trails, because they're wider and more flexible than Vivo's. But...in the winter I wear Vivo Primus Lite's for road running and Primus FG's for trails, because they're water/winterproof. A cushion shoe will last you about 300-500 miles of running before it starts to wear down. Barefoot shoes (like Vivo and Vibram with no cushion) will last 3,000-5,000 miles+. So, IMO, cushion shoes are a big waste of money.

Haven't tried it, but with a 4.5mm sole it should be decent. Personally, I like Vibram FF's better, though, because their rubber is thinner and more flexible vs Xero's, which feel a bit hard and clunky.

Also sorry one more question, where are you able to find a means gum&black color for the v-trek? I've found it in womens but I don't know which women's size to get for a size 9/9.5 men's shoe.

It's a wide toebox, but not extra-wide. The shape doesn't matter much, since it's so flexible, it just conforms to whatever shape your foot is.
