What a great interview from Mr. Pollack, professional and respecful. Amazing job interviewing Elon Musk who in my opinion is the single most influential person of this century.

Elon is best and most calm on a one-person interview from an engineer and design teaching aspect. I would like for him to do an updated one-person interview on unavoidable truths.
@BrianBull6 жыл бұрын
this is the most relaxed i have seen Elon in a interview. People he is smart but he likes to joke around and more comfortable that way so ask some silly (not dumb) questions bur silly.

A nerd in person 😍 You can hear it in every sentence. Thank you to interview him. It is an amazing time to life in, where the people who want to do good things for humanity are getting attention.
@lucasthompson16506 жыл бұрын
bballgirl1818 "nerd" doesn't even begin to scratch the surface, heh. If you ever get to work somewhere that manages to get him as a guest or speaker, and he "goes missing" during the event or right after he speaks … I guarantee you'll find him huddled down in the deepest darkest cubicles of your office, hanging out and talking shop with your engineers, regardless of what industry you're in. This dude lives only for problem solving, pure and simple, and the harder the problem the better.

Lucas Thompson thx for sharing! I m totally fascinated by such attributes. I m for sure not any close to him but i just love to study humans and learn from him.

They did a really nice job with the lighting. Guest has on a black shirt, with a solid black background . . . Could have turned out real goofy. Kevin is all that!

Mr. Pollack; I think should go on Joe Rogan's show, and then he should come on your show. Or vice versa. You both do stand-up, and you both have great podcasts. I'd love to see the two of you get together and talk.

Wait, wasn't this upload meant to be Ricky Gervais? Got the ad for it in my feed.

I have a feeling a certain person - maybe Ricky or someone from his management was not happy with the end result. I have to say - no real loss really. Far more interesting people out there than Ricky IMHO.

Eight years ago he laid out his business plan to release the Roadster, the Model S, and the Model 3. And he has stuck to that plan. The low production Roadster has proven the concept, the Model S has proven longer range, more power, and their ability to produce many thousands of them. It's also proven that a supercharging network can be built and allows people to drive cross country. The Model 3 will prove they can compete with the big 3. It should get other companies to release better versions of their own electric car, even partner with Tesla to standardize on the Supercharging stations and build more stations themselves. Build an electric car infrastructure. Of course, big oil will have something to say about all this. The next 10yrs will be interesting.

I would love to get an electric car but they've gotta fix that range issue... I drive often and gas is expensive but the lack of charging stations on the highway and potential downtime while waiting for charge (even on quick-charge times) is crippling. I guess it's good for the drones that just drive to work and back or to stores or whatever...

In the third quarter of 2018 Tesla generated 2 Billion in profit. In the forth quarter of 2018 Tesla generated at least 1.9 Billion Dollars in profits and the model 3 is according to the NHSTA the safest car in the United States, number 2 is the Tesla model S and number 3 is the Tesla model X. This will give the viewers an idea of how successful Tesla actually is. All Tesla automobiles are 100 percent Battery Electric, no hybrid, no using a small gas engine to generate power. Cheers!

Mr. Musk, please don't get hit by a bus, a train, the Sergey Brin and Larry Page self-driving golf-cart, Bob Lutz's Caddy, or(like Piere Curie)a team of horses(immediately after he and Marie discovered Radium). Take a lesson from Mr. Curie, and get enough sleep. Many people greatly value your work and dedication(and your former wife's blog[however, possibly not in equal proportions-I'll have to reserve judgment until I've seen her blog-but. so far, no blog I've seen compares with what you're doing]). Thanks, Kev, for your in-depth communication mode/style. I think I really dig the whole conversational thing. That's really going places. Just for the record, like number 202 was mine until I gave it away. Now it belongs to you and Elon, for what it's worth-not much really-except I will tell you it's sincere. This one registered right up there with the conversation you had with Dick Van Dyke. Now you know I'm serious. Because I don't joke about DVD.

What a brilliant idea to have a rentable Tesla then we mere mortals can get over the prejudices of an electric car viz petrol and gives people a chance to test drive one an exciting thought. Just heard computer on board not keen on that as I have had experience of Fiat Tipo with obviously built in obsolescence regards just that meaning that it is impossible to find the replacement computer aspect for mileage petrol gauge etc. So this vehicle is defunct not happy about that as it is virtually new and have been let down grossly maybe could suggest a swap in future! Idea would be nice for kids to have mini Teslas also tiny toy type for those of us aspiring to own one but will have to make do with the dream of ever being able to afford one. Incidentally I am all for electric cars why on earth were see not created before as we have damaged.more of the world in the last 100 or so years than I the previous million years we have our forefathers to thank for this unforgivable mess we are all experiencing. Thanks for trying to help our Planet we need more good intentioned geniuses to save our World.

We can be grateful that our federal dollars are actually doing some good, then. That $800 Billion we sent over to Iraq was certainly questionable in what our return was.
