He went to my high school. And came to visit. Seemed like it would be a very tough room. Being in a high school gymnasium with mostly kids that I assume didn’t even know who he was. He won the room over fast and was funny.

Agreeing with you but just getting this out of my system. Saying that they set him on fire is weird in the first place. How did the "prank" ever be that they set him on fire? (Fire can cause real damage - is very scary to most people if uncontrolled.) Okay, a real Mr. Cooper died. Sad. But he died in a fire, and the joke is that they set "Mr. Cooper" on fire. Wow.

Larry is very underrated. His doorman on Seinfeld was perfect.

It was Nixon who put the bowling alley in the Whitehouse. This was used to comic effect in Werewolf of Washington in 1974, I think, the precursor to An American Werewolf in London.

Laugh out loud funny chat with Mr. Miller. "Bells of St. Mary" on the wine glasses. Not a bartender. "Opera for people who go the McDonald's."

I stand corrected: John Smith 4 months ago The current bowling alley in the White House was Nixons idea. There was one earlier from Truman but apparently was moved.

Shoot, I can't tell who the excellent KP is imitating when he tells the opening joke. Can someone remind me, please?

Yo, I'm halfway through the interview, but I believe it was Colombo and Christopher Walken? If I remember right. KP is the man for those two impressions, watch him do the Columbo eyes on stage! : )

The bowling alley was built by Nixon the basement(?) that was there long before that. Nixon bowling? If that was all he did, maybe he would’ve been OK.
