Jiwon aka Megan is from JYP, but another member Soyeon is a former YG trainee in the 'future 2ne1' trainee group that never debuted, one of the original 4, another later member of that trainee group left to become Chaein (born Lee Chaeyoung coincidentally same name as my favorite fromis_9 member) in super talented new rookie group PURPLE KISS along with Ireh another former YG trainee. It is pronounced like FLOW ver. I was watching the vlive when they announced it on 1yr anniversary despite my far less than fluent knowledge of Korean. Had to wait for fansubs to understand what they said during livestream especially the emotional crying section them reacting to members' recorded messages to group. They did the early school concept and cute song style really well, but it wasn't my style of group the Gfriend-esque lighter music (I'm usually more of a girl crush groups fan BLACKPINK, DREAMCATCHER, Red Velvet, now PURPLE KISS) , DKDK was starting to change things, then came the crazy song LOVE BOMB which made me a fan after their Weekly Idol appearance. Title tracks have been great since then. Form of Therapy correctly pointed out the sincerity of their vocals and mentioned b-sides during a reaction which took me on a deep dive that along with lots of clips showing their personalities led to them eventually becoming my #2 girl group. WE GO and b-side AIRPLANE MODE are my favorite 2021 summer bops. AIRPLANE MODE has a VR 360 MV (with a secondary close-up version). WEATHER and MULGOGI off previous mini album were 2 of my favorite b-sides of 2020. Both have home movie style lower budget 'special video' MVs.
