Today I decided to react to and give my honest opinions VCHA'S DEBUT SONGS (Girls of the Year & XO Call Me) as well as my thoughts of Vcha opening for Twice (I'M SO HAPPY FOR THEM)! The six members were selected through an audition program called A2K(America to Korea) of JYP Entertainment. You can watch all the episodes on KZfaq.

So fully agree with you that XO Call Me should’ve been the title! Girls Of The Year is fun, too, but it’s much more K-Pop coded, whereas XO Call Me screams Western radio single. It’s a nice throwback to early 2000s RnB girl groups, too, so that could’ve been a nice way to introduce the group to a wider audience.

nah, people would just say it's Newjeans at home. The title track is keeping the trend of kidsbop, disney channel sound they got. It's a better choice, they're kinda in their own lane. (I like XO Call me more as a song btw, I just think it's better as a B-side)

@@okoe1785 If they’re going after chart success-which I’m not entirely sure they are, though perhaps they should as JYPE girl groups are performing below company standards lately-I’d say GOTY stands no chance. It suits their kids pop aesthetic and sound better, but that’s not a genre that’s palatable to a wider audience.

Girls of the Year is definitely better as the title track, it marks a statement while XO Call Me dosent. Both extremely good songs but GOTY is a better tt

Totally agree with you. Kendall has that unique tone in ber voice that really stands out and complements the group.

Camila, KG and Kaylee are like main/lead vocals while lei/savanna/kendall are like sub vocals. Lexi savannah and Kendall are more like the dancers/rappers. And all of them are beautiful visuals!!! in that sense, I feel that kg and Kendall stand out to me most

Yeah, you're right they hate kendall's voice at A2K, for me though i love her voice since A2K because of the uniqueness of her tone they're different to others, i think her voice just doesn't shine at first because of her low-confidence. But at the end i'm happy that she debuted to the group. I THINK JYP SHOW HER POTENTIAL AT THE BEGINNING SHE JUST NEED A VOCAL TRAINING THAT'S WHY HE DECIDED TO DEBUT HER.

I feel XO Call Me is on paper more my type of my song but I am like impulsively repeating GOTY so I am torn on which I would have preferred to be the title tbh 😩

This is what I think its not bad its got that Disney feel. That is a space that's lacking ever since Miley, Selena and that group grew up. Could definitely get a solid fanbase to grow with if marketed right. I personally love them having watched since the beginning. Really pulling for these girls.

Look, im a Savanna bias but people are literally sleeping on Kendall. She literally sang that pre-chorus so well, and the choreo and her voice really makes it SO UNIQUE! KG also did the pre-chorus but it doesnt hit as much as Kendall's. Both of them delivered though ^v^

Chicos y chicas he pensando mucho desde que salieron las canciones del debut y se q ambas son excelentes y muchas personas las han recibido positivamente, a lo q voy es que hay algunos q dice q Xo call me debió ser la canción principal y así ps pero la empresa sabe lo q hace y llegué a la conclusión de q en los conciertos de twice, las chicas van a interpretarlas y si es asi es perfecto ya q Xo call me suena mas americana lo cual es genial porque ahi sorprenderán a muchos y les va a gustar, asi q es buena estrategia recuerden mis palabras y las girls of the year esta perfecta xq es alegre, juvenil y tambien con tremendos vocales, ademas con twice siempre pasa eso q si un bside debió ser la canción principal y así ps ( nombro a twice es xq es mi primer grupo fav y ahora mis bebés vcha mi segundo grupo fav x cierto Savanna, Kendall y Camila son mis bias pero kg, kaylee, y lexi tambien me gustan, cada una brilla sin opacar a las demas
