The 2nd gen wars were a mess! Saesangs and antis would try to poison idols, they’d start vicious rumors that felt like they could be legit, they ran idols off the roads. I became a kpop fan during 2nd gen and I was legitimately concerned some of these “fans” were going to become psycho killers.

I was so scared with the beginning of the video 😭 seeing Haruto when you said someone was poisoned, I thought it was something really recent. I knew about this story and the guy is such an angel. He didn't want to ruin her life so he let it be when she tried to kill him. He's really brave. But still if anything like this happens again to anyone in the future, I really hope they'll take action. The fan being a minor or whatever, this is an attempted murder. Whatever action that would be ensued would be decided in the courtroom, but at least they should show it's not okay. And actually I've been noticing that idols tend to get clearer about sasaengs, signaling it and showing their annoyance, and I'm really happy that they finally feel the freedom to do so and do not seem too restricted anymore about their agencies on that matter. People are conscious about what they're doing. Thus they should be sanctioned for their actions. They made groups fall apart, members leave their friends (fellow members), destroyed or tried to destroy careers for some stupid rumors and even made some people leave forever.🕊 I'm looking forward to a day where idols could live their life the way they want to, without fearing for their privacy and sometimes safety wherever they go.

Their agency shld have put precautionary system wherever their talents are performing, whether during rehearsals or concert venues. Wasn't CCTV already in effect during those days, then apart from those, security bodyguards shld have been guarding their stuffs & food being served to them.

Hey, something’s that traumatic lives with ya forever! I had food poisoning when I was 14yo so bad I was hospitalized and on a plain toast and water diet for 2 weeks after. I still to this day (I’m 49yo) I still won’t eat leftovers unless I am the person that made and stored the food myself! I just can’t!😂 never had food poisoning again!

TVXQ was not SM first boy group. There was Shinhwa and H.O.T. But yes, the case was crazy. However I remember that they were sasaeng, not anti-fan. And we all know how crazy sasaeng are.
