@@Dena.D Jennie got a lot of hate for her new hair color. People were saying it didn’t suit her and downgraded her visual. A lot of comments about her online were saying that she should’ve kept her classic darker brown look. So it goes along with what this comment and video are saying. Idols get criticized for having the same look, and when they change it, they get criticized for ruining their perfect image.

I love Jisoo's elegant Korean Diva image but mannn, I'm a sucker for an alternative Jisoo. LSG was my favorite era on her, with the grungy clothes and the fuller colour palette. There is this one specific clip in the MV when she throws popcorn at the camera and THAT CLIP STEALS MY HEART EVERYTIME I watch the MV. Like poker faces look good on elegant beauties, but you know who else slays em?? BAD. GIRLS.

Rosé did change in terms of facial expressions and styling. She used to be really shy with bright cute image for the past couple years. But she change so much now, she becomes more confident after turning 25,her style change from softy to bold and fierce. As if she's re-branding herself as rocksé and that image definitely suit her

I mean if they like their style then why would the idols just change it?, and considering how Rosé used to have dyed hair it got heavily damaged, and tbh I don’t mind what idols wear or how they style their hair as long as they are happy with it, I really love Rosé’s style, and as for Jisoo, it’s the same as Rosé, idk what she wears, she always looks stunning and as long as she’s happy with it then I’m fine with that.

Interesting thought I didn't know there were comments about idols look too similar or that was a thing. It's true some north American artists like Britney spears and Christina Aguilera changed their looks frequently but I think the idols are still stunning.

I’ve literally never heard or seen anyone say that abt Jisoo😭 cs that would be dumb. There’s not many facial expressions you can do when the theme is icy stare, cold gaze, or badass n girl crush. When needed Jisoo easily changes her tone of theme, along with her facial expressions. I have not seen a single person say this abt her😭

The “soulless gaze” is something that a lot of K - pop idols do. Winter does that in basically every stage and I have to admit it does get VERY boring. Complaining and hating on because idols don’t change their hair, clothes etc is unnecessary. The idols shouldn’t be getting hate. Maybe ask the stylist to change it up a bit? Do not blame the idols for that.

Technically, rosé doesn't have 100% control of her career. You should know that first. I just read from Reddit post the reason why rosé has to retain that long blonde hair is because her face is long. Even trolls have made fun of her face comparing to a mango fruit. It's disgusting right? On a side note, they also said rose has that basic Asian beauty that's why she needs some consistent aesthetic (like the black and white clothes, covering her face with hair on photo shoots). I guess that's the brand image that fits to rose. personally, rose's aesthetic is my favourite among blackpink members. I love it, no complain.

Since she has a noticeable long jawline, she needs a hair colour that can soften her features without it being overpowering. Some of her stans are quite opinionated with her style and image and sometimes they go too far with their rude comments towards Maeng(makeup artist) without actually considering her preferences.

Honestly I don't get why people are complaining about idols "recycling" their outfits too much. It's their choice to pick what they like to wear or how to pose and not get so much criticism. For example, Rose here is beautiful and has always rocked whatever hairstyle, clothing or makeup she had on. What people don't get is that they need to STOP stressing idols on their appearance!! @Rr H The fact it is that Jisoo it is The visual of Blackpink and the koreans see her as a top visual of Kpop. But what I am saying is that a visual of Kpop is supposed to has a more “plain” image. And Jisoo is even a actress. For exemple, she said that wanted to promove Lovesick Girls with another hair, but she was working at Snowdrop drama and could not do it. Until Kill This Love, she had red and purple hair, but now she is The global ambassador of Dior and Cartier. She even used a blond megahair at a Dior event, but it isnt to simple for her to go and change her image.

In my opinion why would they change their style in order to please others? I find it a bit strange as I see both Jisoo and especially Rosé very confident nowadays and I love seeing them like this. They are very chic and i don’t know the vibe is completely different from before, of course the clothes help but I think their aura has changed and they SERVE EVERYTIME IN MY EYES…

Honestly, figuring out what hairstyles and makeup work best for you is very difficult. Posing for photos is a challenge as well, so I don't blame idols for sticking to one image for a long time if it works for them. Not everyone can play around with their looks and look great every time, like Jennie or Lisa for example.

Blondsé is a classic in my opinion ,her messy hair and the way she poses are very effortless , it goes along with the vibe she’s giving off , the same vibe is the reason why she was chosen for YSL HOWEVER I would also love to see her wearing something completely different when she’s doing photoshoots for vogue and etc , switch it up SOMETIMES for some occasions , I would love to see her in some haute caouture or Richard Quinn 😊

I think it's more like “You look good doing other things too so why stick to one style?” for me. Like ok Rosè looks good with black clothes and light long hair but imagine what else she'd look good with. I think ppl are making average opinions into hate comments, like I seen Jisoo with the same hairstyle every comeback, it's not like anything was done with her hair, no new colors or even accessories and new styles to add something new. Even with Rosè it's always light blonde hair, just like Jisoo, she may look good with what she got but it's no harm with adding something different. Even I am someone who wear jackets 9/10 times but there are days I wear bright colors or hair accessories and get comments from all over about how I look good.

Signature image is important to recognized idol image symbol. If you think about Taylor swift you think about red lip, if you think about Ariana Grande you think about her ponytail. If your image is fixed, it became your image value. People will recognize you or your settled image will appear in front of people's eyes. I don't think rosè need to change her image, she has portray her image well. But i do feel jisoo need some kind of body or face portray style not her hair or clothes.

Eunwoo has been experimenting differnt looks since last year. In their one era he changed his hair color and in after midnight his hair was short and in recent one candy sugar pop he permed his hair. And in w magazine i guess he tried so many new looks . As a fan of Astro i have never felt bored of his looks and style. People bored of his looks probably didn’t pay attention and just want to criticise 😅

I think with most idols that repeat the same image They do it mostly with the hair colour So maybe changing hair colours and styling it better sometimes will help their image

I have seen some idols and wondered, in terms of hairstyles, what they would look like with a completely different hairstyle. I mean different haircolor and haircut. But i think the idols like on this list keep their hair the way it is because of hairstyling. But i do wonder what cha eunwoo would look like with long hair or a haircolor he’s never had before.

It shouldnt matter if an idol keeps the same style 😕 literally most people outside kpop keep the same fashion sense. I would understand if they're criticizing the style during comebacks but just for their everyday clothes??? Come on 😭 I do understand the dead stare tho. It's always sooo much better to watch an artist who can switch their expressions (even just a bit). Like damn i wanna watch performers not models dancing

I don't think that rosé magazine covers are boring at all! I even think she's the most professional kpop idol in the fashion industry! Rosé knows when to show her face and when not depending on what she's promoting! Even her poses are so versatile and screams perfection!

Excuse me Lee Dongmin is the member who is promoted the most by famu and is one the most handsome idol right now that's why he always top brand reputation charts but please the way you mentioned other members of not appearing in charts is a bit disrespectful since if you believe me or not the other members are way more talented than cha eun woo and if you could wide your spectrum a bit you could see each and every member of any group has a charm of their own

Im also bored with Rose’ and Jisoo’s looks and styles as well as poses, but it doesn’t matter. They’re still far more superior in countless aspects than most of us. So i don’t have the right to criticize them… i envy them, yes! And i love them of course! I just need their comeback!!!

It's definitely her choice to have what kind of hairs she want, her style and confidence has improved the most among Blackpink members, not that she was bad before but she did changed her style from cute concept to bold, sexy and classy concept. I can give million reasons why I love Rosé, she is just so perfect and deserving

I’m confused, as it’s usually blaming the stylist for everything when fans don’t like the look of an Idol and now everyone is saying that they like the fact the idol can wear what they want as this is their own choice. Blinks are never bored with there members. Jisoo and rose outfit are perfect and jisoo and rose tries different outfits and hair styles . They are the best

You can’t “recycle a look.” They don’t in any way shape or form look boring you can’t expect them to always wear different. The people who criticized idols for that are just the lazy people who are sitting on their bed with the same outfit they’ve been wearing for 3 weeks.
