Well, even though I'm not an atiny, I get literally frustrated because oh him being such an underrated visual. Whenever I look at their videos and see him my jaw drops, and I'm not someone who's easily impressed by anyone's visuals, but he does it every time, like how is he that pretty? They still looks same with and without. Sometimes the lighting while recording the video without make up were bad or they just seems like just woke up some don’t even comb their hair. While the with make up there are hair do artist , nice clothes etc

The main difference in these comparisons is that all the without shots have terrible lighting. If with and without were under the same lighting the major difference would be the eyes and lips are less emphasized without makeup

Some idols also have acne scars. I remember Minwoo from ZE:A had very noticeable ones on his cheeks when he debuted. There are treatments like lasers and peels that can help make skin smoother. I'm sure he got something done because eventually his skin got much better. I'm sure quite a few idols use retinol to help with acne and anti-aging as well. They go to the dermatologist and a lot of Korean skin care products have calming ingredients like centella. Really good skin is achievable if you can afford it.
