Ellie? Posting two videos in one month? More likely than you think.
Hello everybody!
Today I'm here with a cover I've been working on for quite some time; a dance cover for Black Mamba by aespa!! I totally fell in love with the song and choreography when it first dropped, and of course I scrambled to learn the dance. There were some complications along the way, and I didn't feel comfortable with recording myself when I knew I could improve so much more, so I've been practicing for several months and finally decided to just go for it and record!
I tried to recreate Giselle's look in the music video, from the black and green outfit to the cute hairstyle. If you're wondering why I kind of look different from before, it's probably because I recently got braces and haven't recorded anything with them yet. They'll be on for a while so they'll be making an appearance in my future videos! :D
It was a pretty windy day when I recorded this, but I persevered anyways. This is actually the first time I've had to use several takes in one of my videos. I truly do apologize, but it was getting so cold and I couldn't continue filming. Nonetheless, I tried to make up for this by adding some fancy camerawork! I've been becoming more comfortable with editing my videos and wanted to step it up a notch, so, like my Drum Go Dum video, I used a lot of keyframes to add some movement to the otherwise stationary camera. I had wanted to recreate the slo-mo from the music video at the end of my cover, but I couldn't figure out how to do it haha. Maybe next time!
Thank you for watching, and I'll see you around~! :D
