i remember a while back i saw a clip of a stay doing a fancall with jeongin. she had him help her pick out her outfit, jewlery, and makeup colors for her date and he was smiling so much and said "wow this is so fun". i just don't understand why fans choose to make them uncomfortable when they could tailor that time they have with the idol to something they like and have a special moment. because you can truly see when their faces light up when a topic that they're passionate about is mentioned. don't know what to say? show them your pets! (especially those cat lovers like leeknow). or literally just tell them how much their music and artistry has meant to you (because they're musical artists at the end of the day!). i saw a fancall once where someone was telling wonyoung how much she meant to them and it made her so emotional to hear that she started to cry. there's just.... so many more alternatives rather than asking an idol to call you mommy or bark like a dog 🫠🫠🫠

Of course they have the audacity - these (mostly) female fans were lead to believe these male idols were their boyfriends. It's beyond cringe and something the whole industry needs to change.

I don’t understand how so many people 1) think their behavior is okay 2) have no shame and 3) get these fancalls when there are so many more fans who would have fun during the calls without making the idols uncomfortable And examples of good fancalls are: the one stay who danced to maniac wearing a horse costume, the stay who complemented all the skz members, and the stay who had jeongin help her pick out her outfit, jewelry, and makeup for a date. In all of these cases the idols weren’t uncomfortable and we’re having fun while interacting with respectful fans (sorry I don’t have other examples from other idols)

honestly, the cover your face vs private part question is inappropriate bc the contexts in the two cases are widely different: - one is in a professional setting where the person asking is a fellow colleague to the kids and she's mcing, it's recorded to be a funny segment where the goal is to defend a silly arguments in a widely improbable hypothetical scenario - the other is a semi private setting where the idols DON'T KNOW these fans (unless serial fancallers), not only do they make it awkward for themselves but for the idols too but it can easily borderline flirt sexual harassment in some cases even when having the context of the skz clip, it's still not okay.
