I try to listen to all the new releases (I like) from ALL genres (I like) on spotify every Friday ("new music friday"). Music is not my only passion, so it's just impossible to keep up with everything (even when limited to the people I like). Plus you shouldn't just blindly support new groups lol. They should have to earn your support

He felt surprised that two people reached out to him so he left Cube and joined BH Beomgyu- He wanted to be a guitarist in a band instead of an idol and gave the company fake names because he thought they were a scam Taehyun- In the video :’) Hueningkai- He auditioned multiple times with his sister but never got accepted. He tried one last time and failed, but he left an impression on one of the people there and that person got a job at BH then reached out to him to accept him into the company Sorry this is very long, and welcome to the fandom :)))

Bang Yedam is precious. I remember him from the JYP vs YG show back when Stray Kids was still trying to debut. Must have been 2016 or 2017. His voice was angelic and he they were all so young. Can't believe how far Treasure and Stray Kids have come. 🥺

Irene did not even thought of becoming an idol until she accompanied her friend and was asked to audition as well yet ended up failing. Her competitive ass started wanting to become an idol after that and even became an admin of a fancafe (group) that's full of aspiring idols haha. When sm called her again to audition, she made sure she'll pass this time. Love her for that haha.

@@hehe1653 I'm not sure if it's called fancafe but it's like a social media site in Korea and there was a group there for aspiring idols where they share their experiences, hardships, tips, dreams, etc. Irene who never thought of becoming an idol before became an admin who even give advices to the members of that forum/group (indeed a leader since pre-debut days 😭)

Nope she never been a trainee before. BBC is her only company and she only train for 1 day but before that she train as a dancer in a dance academy. The period of her being K-pop trainee is only 1 day. In K-Pop when they ask how long have u been training? They mean how long have u spend as a idol trainee. Training as idol consisted of more than a dance class. That's why u can't count Olivia hye 2 years of dance training as trainee day.

yedamie is the longest trainee of yg entertainment. yg himself really treasured yedam and made sure to debut him as a solo artist (?) when he was young but yedam choosed to continue being a trainee and compete then, that's how he became the most avoided trainee of ygtb, he finally debuted as a main vocalist of treasure.✨💖

Even if you compare him to Moon Sua and Yedam,he technically has the lowest training years at YG out of the 3 but second overall

Technically, Olivia hye become trainee for only one day but she train as a dancer in an academy for around 2 years. So saying that she train for 1 day is correct since she train to become a K-Pop idol (become a trainee) for only 1 day. Usually, in K-Pop when they ask you how long has u been training they mean how long have you been a K-Pop trainee before debut.

I still remember that time, around 2015 I think, there was a compilation video of which group debuted in that year since the first boy group debuted. at first it was only about 2-3 groups per year, became 5-10 groups per year, then it became dozens of groups per year. and I was thinking that was a lot.. but now it's hundred groups in a year.
