BTS owes it to their Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth, or ARMY for short, for being one of the most loyal and supportive fandoms ever. Without them, they never would’ve come this far.
But aside from their toxic behavior towards other idols and fandoms, they can become toxic to BTS members themselves. It’s hard to believe that these people who “love” them, are the very same people causing them harm.
If you’ve been in the Kpop scene for quite awhile now, you most probably know about crazy sasaengs. But even normal fans can go overboard without realizing it. It’s not only that. What gets me so frustrated is when the fans who were with them from the beginning or for a while, decide to leave them or unstan them after claiming they will be with them through thick and thin. I know that staning a group isn’t marriage and it isn’t but it IS friendship. Of course they don’t know each individual, of course they haven’t met millions of their fans yet but they show support and love their fans so much and I don’t believe that they do it for views or likes I think the genuinely love their fans especially those who are still with them. But I guess if losing a few million fans who are toxic, who hurt them, who talk trash behind their backs or on social media, is good because have they lost fans, or actually people who were never going to be with them, support them? I don’t think it’s a loss but openings for more true fans. For fans that want to be with them through this journey. Fans, who no matter what will always find the truth and if they don’t, they will still believe in those people. It really is like a friendship. Like, if you have a great friend and you know them so well, but then hear or see them do things that contradict their actions whether knowingly or not, they still decide to leave their friend without letting them a chance to speak, then you weren’t friends for real in the first place. A friend is someone who is there. Yes, we get frustrated at each other, fight, dislike some things but being a loyal and true friend is when you both get over yourselves, and after a short while talk to each other. Just like BTS and ARMY. We may get mad at each other, hurt each other, come to a disagreement, but in the end, because we are loyal to each other, love each other to the end of the universe and back, we will sit down and talk, support, listen, and whatever we need to do, to get back to having fun with each other. I’ve never met BTS, went to their concert, have lots of their merch, however, I do love them, their music and the messages they convey, and I feel like I’m in this friendship forever. A trusted friendship, because although I know they don’t know I exist, I still belong to a whole group who is supportive (those who actually are in the fandom), and I know that, in the end I will go through this journey with them and fans through thick and thin, because I have faith, not only in them and us, but in myself. Faith, that I AM a good person, and that I WILL be there for the people and love and care about like people who are still with me after all the BS I’ve thrown at them. Because frankly, and I’m sorry for not being such a great person, they still love me. I want to be that, for others, and those who love me. I vowed to MYSELF, first and foremost that I will be there with people who I love, and I may leave or take a break not because of them, but honestly for me. Because I have to figure something out about myself. Thank you, if you read this whole huge message.

Even as a non k-pop fan I was infuriated watching this video that I couldn't finish it. I might not know much about them, but BTS are some of the kindest, most humble, and down to earth celebrities there are. And for this reason people need to respect them even more. That is the only problem in a huge fan following that the fans sometimes not knowing start hating the idol themselves also that many turn toxic toward other idols and fandoms is a huge problem. Dude respect the idol and fandom cause Ariana Grande legit said "Don't hate on any idol cause that may be the reason why their fans are alive." I am not an Ariana fan but surely respect her. Stop being toxic cause then you start hurting the Idol and Fandom and make yourself and your fandom look bad. Respect them cause you ain't living their life, for toxics its easy to say "They are ugly" and stuff but they really aren't in the shoes of BTS. Non-Toxic ARMY pls unite, we really need to fight against haters and toxic ARMY
