These tear into boats are awesome, I've had one for some time and I upgraded mine to brushless 3s too and it's pretty quick.

my recommendation is spend the 30 dollars and get yourself a soldering station.

did you remove the protective screen from the intake 2:56 ? or is the jet housing installed at a different one ? 4:17

He probably removed it when he put the jet assembly back, but you probably want to keep it in so nothing gets sucked into the prop

did you have to drill out the drive coupler to fit the new motor shaft?

no the motor i used was a straight bolt in. no mod to the coupler

it's all ordered, but the esc is coming from hk, and it's backordered. oh well. I guess that will give me time to paint the shell and get it all ready. thanks for putting this up man, I'm looking forward to the build.

the one that is in there is way overkill. 35 amps same speed, less heat.
