These kind that are "shove strait in the microwave" are absolute garbage. The kind where you open it, remove the powder pack, pour water to the fill line, THEN microwave, add powder and stir...those kind are alright though I must admit I prefer the walmart brand over kraft with them.

Kraft Blue Box is the comfort food. You get a box of noodles, and a cheese powder packet. Supply your own butter and whole fat milk. So much better then this, also salt and pepper is great on Mac n' Cheese. Oh and Chili Mac n' Cheese is like the greatest lazy person food EVER!

One of the kids even burned their tongue on the boiling hot artificial cheese paste. The family had to treat it at home as they can't afford the hospital or doctor visit. Said child loses his tongue due to infection and then died. They couldn't afford a coffin so they made one out of elbow pasta noodles and super glue. While making the coffin, the other kid developed an addiction to huffing glue. Every night after their daily meal of hard and overcooked mac n' cheese, he'd go up to his room and huff the leftover super glue the family used to make his brother's coffin. He huffs too much, passes out and dies. He is buried in the same style pasta coffin. Only the mother and father are left now. The mother commits suicide soon after the death of her second son and the father drinks himself to death swearing to anyone who still talks to him, that he sees his wife and children's spirits around the house. The father dies with the fireplace going. The bottle he was drinking from falls onto the floor and leaves a trail of liquor as it rolls to the fire place's base. The house catches fire and burns to the ground. No survivors. All because of mac n' cheese.

POTATO i've tried both the pots and the box versions (i'm english) and honestly they're both shit. The box version slightly less shit, but they're both godawful. Waaaay too much garlic, too. I added a shit ton of cheese to the box version I ate in an attempt to mask the garlic and it was still too much for me to want to eat it.

That sounds like a special version of the American one, the standard American one has no garlic at all.

As soon as the directions didn't mention adding water or removing the packet, I knew he was screwed. I'm not saying the dry ones with separate cheese packets are like eating at the Ritz, but they are *miles* above these "just heat" varieties.

I will admit that some of the flavors of Annie's can be slightly bland(white cheddar) so a good dash of salt, and pepper does not hurt nor does some butter lol

These were (and possibly still are) available in the big 4 UK supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons). There were also some Heinz branded ones that come in exactly the same packaging and upon closer inspection originate from the same factory... Both are utterly revolting! Absolutely do not waste your money on them

thats because you can get other boxed mac n cheese in the UK. which has real cheddar in it, they just sell kraft as it is. however there is a UK version of kraft called 'cheesy pasta'.

Also might have something to do with the fact that Kraft Mac N Cheese is a cultural institution in Canada. It's like baseball in America, bullfighting in Spain, or not looking people in the eye on the tube in the UK.
