Ich kenne Kraftwerk erst seit ein paar Jahren, bin süße 35 jahre xD Und ich finde sie klasse. Besonders von "Wir sind die Roboter" kann ich nicht genug bekommen. Es ist großartig zu wissen, dass Kraftwerk einen großen Einfluss auf nachfolgende Musik und "moderne" Musik haben.

I do love the English version but it sounds so much better in German. I love how robot is pronounced in German especially with the rolling R.

In German, the rolling R at the end of "Roboter" is an awesome sound bit thats missing in the english version.

EXACTLY ! It was used intentionally to achieve an "alien" sound. In fact this "R" sound is typical for Slavic languages or also for Latin languages, like in Spanish "coRRida".

Als ich ein kleine Mädchen war in den 70er Jahren (ich bin Amerikanerin), die Englische-Version von diesem Song war mein "jam", oder aber Sie sagen, dass in der deutschen. Ich mag dieses Lied viel besser in Deutsch.

Hab damals im ZDF mit meinem Vater die Sendung gesehen, von der Aufnahme stammt. Hiess RockPop. Mein Vater hat am nächsten Tag sofort die Platte gekauft. Waren beide völlig geflasht. Ich war damals 10 oder 11.

When i was in my teenage during 90s, i used hear in audio caste (no digital media). After our local main songs list, at the end the remaining tape( 30s - 45s), this music would come.. I rewind many time again again i hear this.. I dont know which song, but i searched many years.. Just yesterday i found. Thanks for that

Some Songs come better in german when it is made good. In my own music i like to use the english language mostly. electrodefender.bandcamp.com/

My older brother loved this band it had an influence on me aswel there is no other band on the planet like them. I believe there music is well before it's time and just think they started out in the 1960s. Totally amazing. You go guys keep the good stuff comming.

you can tell from how the equipment looks, they basically pushed electronic music forward and probably came up with a lot of the stuff they used to make music.

Absolutely. I've had thoughts about future lectures on Kraftwerk. We probably won't be alive but the time will certainly come. Pioneering genius, talent way ahead of its time must be appreciated for as long as possible.

Gershon Kingsley released "Popcorn" before Kraftwerk was even formed. He is founder of the First Moog Quartet. And the true founder of Electronica.. He lived to be 97.. December 10, 2019

I get that a lot of Kraftwerk songs work better in German, but I think this one, especially during the chorus, flows better. The English one has less syllables and feels less cluttered imo.
