Because human knowledge gets lost and rediscovered all the time? Because willing suspension of disbelief is pretty useless when these shows are supposed to be a commentary of our modern society? The bronze age context is just for flavour most of the time, but it also wants to have its cake and eat it too by having semi-serious episodes were they have to discover solutions to problems we have already solved, it doesn't make sense for them to have to do that if we assume they already have everything figured out just like us, so the shows has to reminds us theyre really primitive humans who are still figuring things out for the audience to know they shouldn't assume anything. It's it patronizing? Couldn't the audience reach that conclusion by themselves if they are given enough clues? Yeah, but this show isn't made for people who want that, it's made for people who want to turn off their mind for while but whose body isn't tired enough to go to sleep.

Yeah it looks like yet another dime-a-dozen "raunchy" cartoon. I guess they are cheap and easy to write because, instead of real jokes, you can just fill the time with genital references and toilet humour.

This show is so good! I’m thrilled it’s getting more seasons. If you’re a fan of adult animated series in the vein of Archer/Futurama/R&M (S1-3..), then I would imagine you will fall fast for this one. Always light-hearted fun adult humor. The characters are likable with delightfully relatable family and personal relationships. The actors seem to have mastered a feel for their characters from E1. No “stinkers” so far in 11 episodes, the latest being my favorite. Each story plot very cleverly executed without being cliche. Harmon’s best work to day IMO. Bravo to all involved! Please keep the genius coming.

I know a lot of peopel don't like this show and are disappointed for ot not being that funny but tbh I actually like the show yeah I don't laugh at a lot of the lame jokes it tries to pull but to me the concept is cool, it's fun to watch even tho it's not that funny, and I like some of the voice actors. That's my opinion tho and I know lots of y'all don't like it but if you don't mind the humor not being that good but having a good time I recommend giving it a try but that's me hope it helps whoever reads this comment 😊.

Not sure if story circle is like...that rigid a thing? I feel like writers (and especially Dan) just apply that structure subconsciously to stories at this point, but also keep in mind that the Hero's Journey can fit around almost every story in some way
