Ω About the story:
I edit this video for 4 hours straight (yes, real) and re-check 4 times. It is Perfect but after it's exported it gets Glitchy as you have seen bruh. Too tired to check again after posting on KZfaq and I went straight to sleep just to realize this the day after. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but since it was getting views I don't wanna delete and repost :( At least the Audio works fine.
Anyways, God of War 2018 Main Theme is still kinda "too hard" for me and I don't find an appropriate feeling to cover it so I still neglect it after 5 years. But after playing GoW Valhalla DLC, I realize just how great Valkyries theme is! And the nightmare Sigrun cast on me years ago still is Vivid to me so I went straight to the Piano and craft this piece in mere 2 weeks.
Ω About the arrangement:
This piece is surprisingly easily to learn and play. However it is supremely hard to clearly distinguish the Voices. For the first chorus I decided to mimic the violin beat and the Tonal Melody at the same time in the Right hand. It sounds just so solemn for a Start and I think it fits the aura for the Valkyries.
I follow the Song Structure exactly as in-game version so you may find it different in the OST version. Isn't it iconic to get Kratos Head slammed in the ground every time we attempt to fight Sigrun ? However I start to re-structure at 1:09 because I want to add all element of the full in-game version. I read on KZfaq that this part appear in one of the Minor Valkyries Fight and we don't hear this in Sigrun. But I find it a unique and special touch to the song so I tried many ways to fit it in seamlessly. Turns out I had to shift the song from A minor to E minor for a while until 2:35 a perfect point to return to A minor.
About Kratos Theme Cameo, I was surprise Kratos had a Cameo in this Theme so I took this advantage to extend more of his Theme. The extend version has many elements of this same excerpt which appear 3 times in both Main Theme 2018 and Main Theme Ragnarok. I try to maximize this opportunity lest I never attempt Kratos Theme 2018.
