its a bonus play you need to get the Aphrodite's Garter its behind aphrodite bed
Aphrodite's Garter: In Aphrodite's chamber, look behind the bed and you can jump up to a platform where you will find the garter. Lets you use Athena's Blades instead of Blades of the Exile.
Hera's Chalice: Activate Hera's Chalice to cause the Health Meter to slowly drain over time, never completely emptying it. Found after speaking to Hera at the entrance to the Olympic Gardens.
Hephaestus' Ring: A bulky ring marked with the recurring Omega symbol. Automatically completes most context-sensitive attacks in the game. Found near the portal to the Styx after killing Hephaestus and acquiring the Nemesis Whip.

I like the Blades of Athena, I love the dull gold color and glowing red markings, in God of War Ragnarok there should definitely be an option to change the Blades of Chaos to the Blades of Athena and exile, maybe as a new game plus item or a skin you can equip.

I like too those red glowings.. but i miss blade of olympus so much as mark of mightiest hero's sword and now it is in my memory forever..

The blades of exile do like double the damage. They were good in gow2 it’s supposed to be a challenge in gow3

Why didn't he keep using Athena's blades after this fight? Because he realized she was playing him and didn't want to accept her help anymore Edit for clarity: Yes I know she upgraded them to the blades of exile but the base is still her blades and her magic

@@slaywee well that was rampage of fury, not lance one. I have high hope that the moves will be combination taken from gow 1 as well, since i personally dislike the L1 + O in gow 2 😅

yep, exile have +power and +area power

in this game they also do less damage as compare to exile. But move sets are much better of Athena than exile, you can perform so many combos with athena.

Yeah the blades of exile has enemy grapple and uses the golden fleece faster

Atena's blade is more usefull with the triangle button/heavy attacks. Exile is too slow for some situation
