▸ Frustrated with his repeated failed attempts at killing Spider-Man, Kraven the Hunter hatches a final plot to best his adversary, shooting and burying him alive. With his enemy out of the way, Kraven dons a Spider-Man costume and patrols the city, intent on proving himself a better hero. The real Spider-Man soon awakens and hunts the Hunter!

I love this era of Spider man. The Web of Spider man images was dark and dank…so NYC and Philly. The rain and dark alleys. The art was incredible.

@@brianb99 • Yes!!! This art takes me waaaay back. The art now is really good too but it's trying it's best to resemble Japanese animation. This art here, is more grounded in reality. That's what makes it so dark and nostalgic.

Kravens last hunt is absolutely the best Spiderman story. Some would say the night Gwen Stacey died, and there is a good argument for that in terms of an event that helped formed Peter. But kravens last hunt pushed him physically and emotionally and ultimately Spiderman triumphed but lost at the same time.

Kraven is one of my favorite spider-man villains I love the idea of a villain that sees their battle against the hero as they hunting a difficult prey

I remember you doing this story with Sal and Benny on Back Issues long ago. Good times. I still have the mental image of Kraven personally milking the room full of spiders to fill a saucer dish with their venom, licking it once, and then spilling the entire thing onto the floor.

Love spiderman so much that I never truly believe he's dead. He never stays dead because he's Marvel's golden hero. Everyone loves him to the point they could never truly kill him.

Kraven is a very underused character but keep in mind that most of Marvels consumers are in the US and with it being a very nationalistic country there isn't much call for portaying Russians in a positive light as it would hurt sales. So while Kraven is a complex character, who has been both a hero and a villian, you're not really going to see Marvel portraying him as anything but a heartless killer in order to appease customers.

@@therealcapalot Sony have a kraven movie coming out. He is a spiderman character and Sony have exclusive rights. Marvel can only use him as and when Sony allow unfortunately.

Wow, I actually own the comics for this story line. And as a younger man, I was a little disturbed by the actual story. It was so different from regular Spiderman story lines. So dark, yet so good.

The most dangerous game reference made me think, why doesn't Kraven go to space and hunt out there. Plenty of deadly aliens to come across and would definitely read that story. Also an after thoughr-kraven hunts the predator

Interesting take, that'd be cool to see Kraven and a Predator knowing the reversal to each others reversals in an almost daffy duck/bugs bunny battle with real death on the line.

@@LAVATORR I don't recall Batman ever saying he wanted to look like a bat, or become a bat. I do recall a speech about criminals being a "cowardly and superstitious lot", he's a camouflaged ninja who hunts at night and drops on you out of nowhere, I think that generally gets the point across. Peter is a guy with proportionate speed and strength of a spider, he doesn't need to look like a spider and he doesn't fear he's not trying to intimidate. I think the characters you're thinking are Kirk Langstrom aka Man-Bat who is a man-sized bat and that version of Spider-Man where he grew extra arms and his head turned into a spiders head.

That trailer may was soooo fire the actual symbiote gameplay is stellar so much aggression plus miles morales looks just as cool n fun the swing upgrades and switching roles just falls together so good this might be a better comic book hero game than The Arkham series (thank God Gotham knights isn’t included)

I don't remember the black suit going off on vigilante missions by itself while Peter was asleep. It only seemed to exercise and jump around. All the vigilante stuff was a retcon.. Because the suit had become venom and became so different than just a living suit.

@@pervysage4934 Yeah that's what I said. But the criminals weren't afraid of spider man because the suit was doing vigilante stuff. That was only in the cartoons and the retcons. The suit literally just did parkour.
