So the game is based off a parkour action game, discover cities, level up, do Time trails, get rank, visit districts, learn tricks, Unlock tricks, get gears and gloves, level the gear up with NPC's And yeah... And even, earn currency

the game is a total revamp, the lead dev / owner hudzell wanted to make something less glitchy and stuff than parkour (now called parkour legacy) and they took major inspiration from mirrors edge and mirrors edge catalyst not based off of parkour legacy

Parkour reborn is based off of the old parkour game and one of the devs who made parkour legacy also is doing work for reborn

Hudzell (the owner of the game) as well as every developer of parkour (now known as parkour legacy due to the release of parkour reborn alpha) are all developing parkour reborn. Parkour legacy received its last update sometime around middle last year and all attention has been diverted to reborn. Reborn is the successor of parkour, and both were heavily inspired by mirrors edge as said by hudzell.
