It's so sad that people can't even play Roblox without exploiters ruining it anymore.

If only the moderation staff actually looked into this and could do a better job, this is actually pretty sad to see because the moderation team is generalizing the games instead of the players. People keep saying “it’s not Roblox’s fault” and sure, there can be mistakes, but exploiters and hackers should not be slipped by this amount.

For one of the most popular game companies this is really scary bc it just shows how easy it is to exploit and just lose money you spent in roblox.

2:53 Backdoors are usually casted within requires for module scripts. So, you would cast a variable like local module = require([asset-id or hex code or whatever]) Then, whatever is in that module script can be used to store info (like a configuration folder) or use functions from that script like for example, FastCast has a fire function which would be cast like this, module:Fire().

I'm honestly confused as to why people would go out of their way to just ruin someones account entirely, Its confusing to me because not only is it just a game to have fun in and for people to create fun games for the community, BUT also because I don't think the exploiters gain anything from banning accounts at all.

Those exploiters are doing a lot of inappropriate stuff in this game called CHAOS, and it happens in every server I join in that game, but most people playing it don’t report because they either are friends with the exploiter or think reports do nothing.

The fact that this exploit has been out for years and only NOW they find it and abuse it is just mind blowing, i even "used" this exploit in one of my games to play a client animation to the server without remotes or weird networking, in fact, ANY executor lv4+ can do this as roblox replicated almost everything that happens in a clients character to the server

Btw if your wondering a more simple thing just do the same but it is for mobile do the same thing but set only for 1 person maximum in each server

A Level 6-7 exploit should not be able to execute a server-side script in a filtering enabled game. Make sure filtering enabled is enabled if you own an old game (in workspace I believe (properties)). This prevents exploiters from accessing the server unless there is a back-door in a remote event. The way these exploiters are doing this though is playing animations on their own character which is a work-around of the filtering enabled setting. The player's client has server ownership of their own character meaning anything they execute on their client to their player is replicated on the server (this is why speed, jump, and character size scripts work) As a developer you can prevent any animations from being played on characters with a simple script but this can be an inconvenience as well. Especially if your game uses many character animations. Hopefully this helps explain a developer's side of things.

Happened to me, got it through a toolbox model, and even though it wasnt me my account is still terminated with the thousands of robux I had.

It’s an issue because I can’t play games like Arsenal or Phantom Forces anymore because every server I join has a hacker in it. If it doesn’t, I stay there for about 15-30 minutes before a hacker joins. It’s crazy

i have like 170 games.. they gotta add a private all games button if i private all my group games and my games then i have to tell the people in the group that the games are temporarily disabled.

I actually figured out that the exploit team is after the turkish games so far ; if we take a look at the badges we can see that it is turkish, example "Hoş geldiniz" aka welcome and the military welcome badge near the avatar there is a moon and star very similar to the turkey flag

the fact that small games are the most targetted is sad for the people in the game i always play, i have 458 Hours (yes i need to go outside) on it and its called "town" the gist of it is that youre in the roblox default map but you have g u n i recommend people who like gun type games like cod to play this, watch videos on it to get the hang of it its also really high quality and you can build if you join the group

if this is still a problem (im no expert) but depending on where the animations are put you could make a :IsA("Animation") then v:Destroy()

So I was playing Roblox yesterday and randomly it said that I was exploiting and my account had been permanently terminated. However, when I joined back Roblox, nothing happened to my account. I can’t tell if this was the same exploit, but it had the termination letter for “exploiting and posting inappropriate content.” I was so confused but still unsure if it was the same exploit, even though I think it was.

Roblox Mods really need to up their game.

If you have a game that is in the risk zone but can't private it. Then here are protection tips to follow. 1. Add an antivirus (Safe one) 2. Add an anticheat (1 can go a long way) 3. Add an age limit (By far the most important since the exploiters use alts) 1 Week to 2 Months should be best. 4. Scan with an antivirus (Ro-defender) to find backdoors. (Could save your game). Also check the like rating of models, scripts, and the tools you use to build your game. :) your welcome.
