16 years ago i worked at a local supermarket and this song was stuck in my head. In the corner of my eye i saw a costumer placing her groceries on the counter. I didnt look up till she stood in front of me... It was Jaqueline! As she paid and walked away, i felt bad not saying anything. She came back to ask how much the flowers were and i asked het autograph! Still have it on receipt paper! ❤️

However many times I hear this song and watch this video, it never stops from bringing a little tear to my eye. The lyrics are powerful, but it’s Jacqueline’s amazing voice that takes it all the way there.

How on Earth did you not get fully into the mainstream? Heard you songs for the first time in 2000 in the Netherlands. Instantly fell in love with the sound, the lyrics... I remember getting the Maxi-Single and listening it on loop for almost 20h on my way back home from Holland. Great times...

Volgens mij bestond k3 veel eerder dan Krezip... Ik zat nog in groep 3 ofzo toen ik k3 luisterde. Maarja, jij bent dan zeker van een andere generatie.

All the comments wondering why she's blinking so quickly with her eyes... Please... Take some time to observe the video... If you look at the water you can see the video is sped up, this means she sang the song in slow motion, so the lip sync wouldn't be off when it was sped up. Now I don't know what the director was going for exactly, but he probably did it to create an unusual (?) effect of some sort.

Ik hou van het idee van de clip, en ik vind het ook heel goed gedaan! Prachtig nummer ook trouwens, alleen heb ik het gevoel dat het ritme van het filmpje niet goed bij het liedje past. Dat plaatje klopt voor mij niet helemaal... Voorderest puik werk! Ik ben grote fan van Krezip! :)

And I hear to day that there is a song that is a hit and other people use later. I have every time people that ruinate my life and my sister is not good for my song and they make story’s against me. And my neighbour the women say to my mother that she hold my when I 6,8 years a go. They stolen my phone book for the good phone book is not real.
