Julio's most underrated quality was how much of a team guy he was. You never heard any stories about him being a problem in the locker room. Extremely unselfish at a position where being a diva is common.

In some of his interviews he would strictly talk about how he doesn’t care abt targets and individual stuff. He said he would block for his receivers/backs all game and get 0 rec yards if it meant helping them win the game. For as talented as he was, you wouldn’t think he was one of the best receivers to ever play with his unselfish approach to the game and his team first mentality. I’m not a falcons fans, but I’m from Georgia and Julio will always be one of my fav players

@@GEMINIRED300 I actually held it together until the fourth quarter...then I actually allowed all 40 year's of bottled up hope loose and probably went as crazy as those at your Superbowl party!! I can honestly say NEVER AGAIN!!! I will never waste my hard earned money for football again. There were amazing players on that Falcon's team and I'm sure there are great guy's on the team now but no. The heart break of that feeling was total grief! We watched before the player's could play on any team, we watched the rise and fall of Mike Vick, we went through years of pure disappointment, then the Matt Ryan era...it was finally our time. I haven't watched a football game since and probably never will. It's really whoever they want to win will win. Tom Brady couldn't lose and it was that simple. Our team played better football and literally wore themselves out. Maybe the "Dirty Bird's" will rise up again and for those guy's I hope they do but NEVER AGAIN will I be that sold out as a believer in the Atlanta Falcon's again 😢💔

To me All Time based off the numbers Julio is a top 10 WR all time. He had a stretch where he was the clear cut best WR in football for 3 years and I think for any HOF type guy that should be a requirement. @@brokenarrowgaming3701 I grew up watching the Falcon's in the late 70's- early 80's... Steve Bartkowski and Mick Luckhurst carried the team. Steve was a great quarterback and was stuck on the Atlanta team until the trade agreement was reached. We had Morten Anderson, then nothing for years, then the dirty bird's, Sander's, Dunn, that Superbowl run, nothing except the Mike Vick rise and fall, then nothing, then Matt Ryan era and hope...I never let myself fully go, fully bought in until the 3rd quarter of the Superbowl...40+ year's of watching, weathering seasons, working the extra hours to buy tickets, driving hour's in the Atlanta traffic... FINALLY, FINALLY IT WAS WORTH IT until it wasn't 💔😭 the best way I could describe that heartbreak was grief. My husband told me they would choke but I refused to believe him... Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and this team was going to get the job done against Tom Brady none the less. I didn't watch another football game until this year. I still don't watch the Falcon's, I just can't, still licking my wounds I guess. I encourage other teams, other players and I do occasionally glance at some players. But never again will I be so sold out to any team the way I was the Falcon's. I wish them nothing but good and I sincerely hope they win a Superbowl!! This franchise is LONG overdue! 0:25 bro cut it out with the lies! I grew up in that same area played high school football against Julio. It WAS nothing violent about Foley, AL one of the if not the safest places to live in Lower Alabama. If y’all going to tell a story tell a story. A great player doesn’t have to be from a violent background to enhance his skills on some weird shit. Have some respect.

The only other receiver you would've took over Julio at that time was Megatron

I was playing rec football in 2009 and we all still called it "Smeer the queer". We did all the way into 2012 when I didn't play football anymore 😂 It ain't no Smeer the quitter 😂

As a falcons "fan", he was GREAT but a choke artist at the same time

he didnt choke in that super bowl. the coaching staff did. that catch is one of the greatest catches i have ever seen and most likely would have sealed the game with 3 runs and a fg kick.

Not even. If you think SB 51 was Julio's or Matt's fault, you're delusional and idiot. The blame falls on that coaching staff.

Prime Julio Jones was insane! But prime Julio does not even compare to the impact Dak has on his team!

Julio should’ve had more career TDs but Matt Ryan would throw a duck in the end zone.
