Rough Riders were a must-have unit in the halcyon days of 5th Edition Warhammer 40,000. There weren't really any great miniatures available for them, but we made do. Now that there's a bunch of really great options to take them in our games, they don't appear in Codex: Astra Militarum! Luckily, there are a bunch of great sci-fi themed tabletop games out there - one of my favourite alternatives is OnePageRules' fantastic Grimdark Future, where the Human Defence Force have access to cavalry and you can model them however you like... maybe something like this, even!
