Kriega 40L Drypack Install | Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

In this video I install the Kriega 40L Drypack, link here: amzn.to/37SGKfP, onto my 2017 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. I've been hoping to do some more adventure touring with this new set-up so stay tuned for some more videos! Not taped in this video are the two 10L packs that will also attach to the side of the 20L drypack - totaling 40L.
I love the flexibility that this combo affords me. Whether I'm out in the forest and need some added security with my Kriega Tool Roll, link here: amzn.to/3fSZksu, or I'm flying down the highway getting to work and just need to keep slinging it, the Kriega luggage packs are essential. On it's own, the 10L pack also has its advantages - large enough to pack a lunch box and the small essentials for work, the added waterproof capability is a nice reassurance when the weather decides to piss on you. As for the complete 40L - I can testify that it is sufficient enough to pack everything you need for an overnight trip - or two.
Overall the luggage system provides ample space to pack food, gear, and other necessities for small camping trips. I primarily use my set up for commuting which has been extremely helpful.
Super pumped about this set-up and excited to put some wear on these packs. Review to come soon! Altogether I'm a huge fan and would recommend to anyone who is still on the edge. The Desert Sled is quickly turning itself into one of the best bikes I've had in my garage - and I'm sure this setup will take me to some pretty amazing places.

Pro tip. Ser the bag sideways. Gives you way more room on the seat. The way you strapped it puts you almost on top of the gas tank

Pro tip after a body shop told me what I was doing wrong. When you go to a diy car wash and you need to use the brush. Blast the hell out of it with the pressure washer before using it so you don't rub the previous cars dirt and shit all over your vehicle and basically sand paper your paint. Anyways beautiful bike im researching the sled to see if it's truly what I want. Great video man

Ahhhh yess dude the tip about how to install the straps! I had everything going through the place where you put the front straps. It worked decent for my US 10L (just trying to add some small storage so I don't have to bring my entire backpack to carry a water bottle)

You could position it perpendicular to the seat so it gives the rider more room as well. They’re built to last; my US30 is older than my DSled. 🤣 Have had it for 5 years. As good as new.

Sorry to comment here. I'm interested in buying this. Seems pretty awesome for my scrambler full throttle. My question is when you're not using the bag do the straps make noise whike at high speeds? Or you just take out the seat and then hide the straps under the seat? Im thinking of getting the 30L but watching this video I don't know.. the 20L seems huge 😯 Thanks Edit: My bad! this is 40L not 20 😄

I’ve got some 10 liter Giant Loop strapless on my KTM 690 Enduro R now. I’m thinking of trading for one of these. I guess they’ll work on these. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The title of the video says 40L drypack, but it looks like you have 20L shown in the video. I'm wondering how the larger bag (I.e 30L or 40L fits on the Scambler. Is that the 20L or 40L? Do you have any videos with the 40L mounted? Thanks!

The 40L I have is a 20L with 2x10L packs attached to it. Pretty sure this is the preferred method for doing 40L all together.

use a microfibre washing mitt and your own soap most of these car washes have bad equipment that will scratch up your bike in the long run.

It's the Hepco & Becker Mini Rail Rack - I posted a video of installing this too if you check my videos. Its about the same size as the Kriega 20L pack I have so yes I imagine you can!
