The princess's actress was acting badly because this happens to her often and she kind of just says it almost sarcastically.

This is one of the reasons why I love this channel so much, books (aside from comics or graphic novels) are one of my least favorite sources for entertainment, watching The Book Was Better teaches me, a newbie, a lot about these interesting novels that I've not even heard about, like Dune or Starship Troopers. Your examples at 1:29 are also my examples for how informative your videos are. These are well made reviews, and they're educational to me (in a good way), keep up the good work :)

Eh, sort of, planning on working on it tmr. On break now so I want to get at least SOMETHING out^^;;;; Also about the acting...I have no idea how they were able to drain the charm out of all those talented comedic actors (esp Emily Blunt, like WTH?)o.O. The whole "Please don't kidnap me" scene....I dont' know, I'm pretty sure they were aiming to make fun of the whole fairy tale/damsel in distress genre...but it kinda fell flat and also completely clashed with the rest of the butt and pee joke tone of the movie o.O;;;

Hey Rouge. I'm an aspiring writer and I need help on this book. It's being written out of teen angst and I want it to be controversial. Anyway, my question is... kind of awkward. In most books for young adults/high schoolers there'll be a little talk or scene having to do with sex or innuendos... Heather Brewer or Any book about romcoms for example OK enough beating around the bush. How far can I take it with kids in scenes like those and do you think that the world is ready for such controversy?
@KrimsonRogue
@KrimsonRogue 8 жыл бұрын
+Sakrad01 Tabias Well, if they're underage, there's a strict moral limit you probably don't want to cross, but a lot of that depends on how vague you are. If you simply implied it by having them wake up in bed together, or something like that without a lot of explicit detail, then you'd be fine. If you wanted to go further, then you probably don't want to go into more detail than general softcore stuff. Again, a lot of this really depends on how vague/detailed you are. Most of this will come down to your personal writing style and how well you can pull off the imagery. Honestly, this might be a bit of a challenge to do effectively if it's your first story. It's certainly something you could come back to later on though. Try reading 'Lolita' if you need an idea of how to approach this from a more successful book though. I admit, I haven't read it myself, but I've heard... interesting things about it.
