After playing Hearthstone for the 1000th time yesterday, I realized how sad Kripparian must be to waste his life to a game/profession that only gets him salty. I remember in brighter days Kripp would play in silence but his saltiness has only grown over the years and he knows it through the facade he displays for his audience and himself. That Shaman was me lol. Craziest deck I had ever drafted in arena and Kripp gave me my only loss that run. 3 Volcanoes, 2 Primordial Drakes, 2 Hexes, Maelstrom Portal, Lightning Storm, and crazy value cards.

I crafted a Druid deck yesterday. I'm 9-2 and still going strong!

Turns out Druid is Preeeeetty Goooood!

So the key to succeeding with druid is, draft a superheavy control deck with multiple swipes, then just get lucky with your opening hands so that you don't get rushed down despite the horribly inconsistent earlygame of the deck? "Spectacular!"

Druid isn't just about curving out. It's also about having catch-up mechanisms. It's objectively worse than mage because your hero powers do roughly the same thing but mage has reliable aoe's to catch up whereas druid has to rely on stuff like swipe.

When I draft druid I don't get offered a single swipe. You got four. You had so many chances to take swipe you actually passed on the last one. :D

I have you know ancient of lore still is good as it gives draws and has a decent body to match. It was a staple in most lategame druid decks.

The solution to Druid is changing all the ramp cards to mana discount cards.

I just drafted a mage deck with my only removal being volcanic potion and made it to 8 wins. Doctor 3 carried me to a few of them though lol.

People are probably just not used to playing against Druid in Arena. It's like when you run a non-netdeck in constructed.

The difference between my druid deck and Kripp's druid deck is that I get 0 legendaries and 0 swipes. That kinda influences the result tbh.

Can someone explain to me how the play at 11:12 makes sense. Why feed the elemental into the stealth minion when he couldve played the murloc that provides a 1/1 taunt also? Seems like a rather large misplay giving the elementals power

His druid deck is good because the only druid cards he has are ancient of lore and 3 swipes. That's why.

well people who play aggressive will run out of steam when they played all the cards right away. But if you can play a big taunt for it in arena it won't matter cause if the little minions are weaker and they need to trade, it will cost the opponent constantly 2 cards which ends up you having card advantage plus big minions to end the game without having to focus on little minions. So I think Druid is a good anti aggro arena pick for that matter, warrior can be too but druid has more support with big taunts.

The only class I've gotten 12 wins with in Ungoro is druid. Feelsbadman.

Isn't druid a class with the class-specific minions with highest ratio of stats/mana? Because this could be one of the life saving trick in Arena. Creatures that are just reliably powerful in most circumstances.

He could have had living mana and mark of the lotus. I would call those two pretty aggressive.

I play like 2-3 arena a month, still never drafted a Legendary. Feels bad man. Correction: never had a good legendary, I have been offered Cho before, but I don't count that.

I don't really get why Kripp is such an influential content creator when it comes to arena. He doesn't even make his own decks, just mindlessly picks whatever his plugin tells him to.

Druid's core issue (and this was always valid, regardless of meta and type of play): you lose the board, you lose the game.

the key is to have 3 swipes

Druid just has a lot of value cards, especially in the late game, so if they make it to the late game, their winrate jumps to like 90%
