Well there is other warrior variants which don't rely on Mecha'thun as much. Also you can do boomship inner rage inner rage whirlwind and no need for third minion (or can have one with 6 or less health)

You can run spell, that makes one damage to a minion and give him two attack. It is more useful than a chance of your opponent has minion.

Playing Mecha'thun Warrior is like trying to active Star Aligner's battlecry in Arena.

I’ve started playing Malygos rogue, it’s quite fun because you can kill druids through all their armor. It counters other OTK decks because you can draw malygos before almost any other OTK deck draws their combo pieces. Because of Elven Minstrel.

I’ve had decent success playing Warlock Mecha’Thun, a lot of card draw and a Keening Banshee. If you draw your combo early you can win as early as turn 10. If you don’t - well, you’re dead anyway, so you can try some silly stuff with the Banshee and trying to do the combo with what you have, especially if you have already discounted the ‘Thun. With Banshee you can easily discard 12+ cards in some cases, and it’s better than Hemet sometimes. And sometimes it just stays a dead card in your hand. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, the deck is not a one trick pony. It’s very fun to play and I’ve beaten numerous Keleseth zoo decks. And you can beat down silly preasts with Mecha’Thun when you burn your combo, which is a ton of fun.

I was wondering about doing the anti combo idea but with warrior. Using dead man's hand for tog druid and a skulking geist. Sure no answer to mechathun but most of those aren't being played anyway right now.

Try just the boomship, mecha'thun, and shield slam. Only requirement outside of these 3 cards, and the obvious conditions of mecha'thun, is to have at most 10 armour if you have no trades on board.

my first idea of how to play mechathun was to put it into an agro deck with heavy draw you just vomit everything on the board and if your opponent does not succumb to the pressure, you play the mechathun combo when you run out of cards its just an idea, somewhat similar to the pirate dragon nzoth warrior where a deck does several things and aims to make one or another work, depending on the circumstances

Beat a combo druid with a Boomsday Variant Warrior deck, he had 9 health and needed to break his twig of the world tree, I had a 3/8 magnetic can't target with spell boy with ziliax (best mech don't @ me) and a 2/5 spawn a taunt when this takes damage minion magnetized to it I played a JO-E and a skatebot onto it also giving it a crazy amount of health and bringing it to 9 attack, he accepted death by breaking his twig off it like a respectable gentleman, one of the best games I've had to date

But there is a priest that can high roll mecha'thun on turn 10. Though usually against warlock i just get 4 of the combo pieces burned... But at least it wins usually against druids.

@11:19 Hero power + brawl would've been better, likely to only leave two 2/2 deathrattles up and whatever survives, and hope you draw into another brawl later. Instead he leaves up three 7/7's.

I hate how you can deal a ton of damage to a dead minion and get healed for it, but you can't deal damage to an "invulnerable".

There should be a card with spell damage that affects things like power word shield and pain, Tha makes it so your next spell is extra potent. Like give a minion +3 health, or making pain a single use 4 attack removal instead of 3. Might be different

Fatigue decks are shit in Hearthstone? Knock me over with a Mecha'Thun tentacle. Original Cthun was basically a Battle cry: Gain 70/70 with charge and that was viable in fatigue decks, so why not Mechathun in a four or five card combo?

Mechcathun is hard counter to mill and kingsbane rouge but thats about it. It sucks against everything else.

Was trying a devilsaur grommash boomship combo yesterday... Didnt get it off a single time in like 10 games (rank 5 -3 eu). The idea to build up this nice hand doesnt work vs deathr rogue/hunter, and priest and warlock just do what you do better and faster ( hemet/ruin). Also can we have a video just on how insane it is that priest gets a combo, hemet and psychic scream in the same season? Thats the most uninteractive thing ive ever seen in any game, including skyrim intro ride.

I kept my mecha'thun because I opened and dont want it to get it again, it might be fun to play a meme deck with it. As far as bad legendaries go, at least it has big stats, its better than gun turret. I got that awful card three times, and wish it didnt exist.

People try too hard to be fancy, I just run a druid deck with all of the auto includes and make the last 5 cards for combo and draw

I've not lost a single game so far going from rank 5 to 3 playing Priest Mecha'thun so I kinda gotta disagree with Kripp here lol. Playing mostly against warlock and druid.

26-5 with my Mecha'thun warlock deck seems real good (don't run even it's bad)

I think you miss the point that makes the other mecathun decks good, they burn through their deck very quickly, I think this might have worked with more cicling (Loot hoarder , Novice engenieer) and Hemet, similar to what the priest does. Also remove the dynomatic, it sucks.

Mecha'thun Priest is still good. Maybe not tier 1 but solid tier 2.
