This is so awesome. It's an earnest and emotional performance from two young artists who manage to show a great deal of depth. It's not a schtick, it's not for show; these two are the real deal. You can see in their faces how connected they are to the song. From a huge Coldplay fan, this would make Chris Martin proud.

@ZivXanthus Totally agree. If one of these is aching for more recognition is Allison. Her album is very, very good, yet radio stations refused to play her music, for who knows what reason. She's under promoted and so under appreciated, it's ridiculous.

i just like the fact that when stripped away to nothing but vocals and a single guitar, it stills sounds fantastic. In fact it sounds way better that way than anything performed on idol with a huge band. there is something to be said about keeping it simple.

Wow, this is just a rehearsal in the high school band room? They are really good together. I watched the No Phone Zone Oprah show, but they never featured Kris and Allison singing, this song, only saw them taking the pledge.
