How could Lord Krishna proclaim to be a Brahmachari (celibate) when He had multiple wives? How could sage Durvasa proclaim he was on an eternal fast after having partaken a feast? How could Sri Sathya Sai proclaim that He never drinks coffee after drinking it when a devotee offered with love?
The words of an Avatar are enigmatic and mysterious no doubt, but they are always the TRUTH! Never have any doubt about it. Even a casual word spoken is nothing but the Truth. That was the discovery of a student, Tarashankar, after Swami made a 'casual' statement as a 'joke' to him.
