Exactly. I think Kristaps would have rookie of the year in many other seasons. He just got unlucky because KAT up some of the best rookie stats of all time. only other rookie seasons comparable were Lebron, Shaq, KG, and maybe a few more.

Aryaman Gupta eh maybe. I love Porzingis and I have no bias cause I'm not a Knicks or t wolves fan but KAT is really special. A lot of people do not see what I see in KAT yet. Booker and Russell are also looking very promising as of right now. But hey we will know when they hang it up.

Also, KAT got lucky that he was on a somewhat descent T-Wolves team, whereas Porzingis got drafted to a dysfunctional knicks

GreenAsianBear well, English is spoken a lot in europe, including in Latvia, which is where KP is from. But as far as guys like Dirk and the Gasols who grew up speaking German and Spanish, just years of practice and learning I guess.

Anthony Frade Personally I don't think so. I think it is because he was a European player that a lot of people either didn't know about or knew very little about. So to me the doubt was understandable but the hate he received and how many people didn't want to give him a chance was what was wrong.
